Hello there!
As many of you know, I'm just finishing up a TR from a trip this February. I wasn't sure if I should do a PTR for our next trip but I think I must be addicted because I'm a little sad that my TR is over. I like seeing my readers everyday. :) For those of you that are new to my PTR's and TR's, let me explain the title of this PTR. You see, I planned our Feb 2008 trip for a year. I did everything I was supposed to do when I was supposed to do it, plus some. I wanted to get everything we wanted to get as far as resort, ADR's, etc. I started wiping down the shopping carts with Purell 30 days ahead of our trip to make sure we didn't get sick. I drank Airborn every day and made sure DH drank it too. DS is too young so I just made sure no other kids breathed in his face and that he practiced good hand washing skills. Then the unthinkable happened. I got sick for OUR ENTIRE TRIP!!! Of course, I soldiered on trying desperately not to ruin DS and DH's good time, but I felt HORRIBLE. To make a loooong story short, (you can read the long version in my TR by clicking here. (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1650131) ), my awesome DH told me to book another trip in the near future with the money we saved from this trip. (It's funny how little you want to shop when you're sick! Thus, saving a LOT of money) Of course this isn't enough money to cover the entire trip, but it's a REALLY good start. :thumbsup2 So anyway, that's why this trip is called "The Great Make Up Trip of 2008". Let's meet the cast of characters............
DW(me)~ I'll be 35 on the 31st. (not this Monday but next Monday) I'm an "at-home-mom" to a wonderful little 4 year old DS. As of last Saturday I have officially and proudly gained the title of "Soccer Mom". I'm having a blast raising my son and I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that he will be starting school this August. I am also the Director of Programing for our local film group. We are a network of individuals who love all aspects of filmmaking and try to help each other achieve our goals. I really love being involved in this group. Sometimes I even get to do a little acting which I absolutely love to do. I am also a Disney nut! I went to Disney for the first time in 1984 with my family. Later, I took DH in 1997 for his first trip because I thought it was a disgrace that he had never been. I think every kid should get to go at least once. :thumbsup2 I never in a million years thought that I'd become this obsessed with Disney. It is just completely hopeless by this time. There's no going back. I'm a coo-coo crazy, Disney Lovin' Soccer Mom who traded in her Infiniti G35 for a Yukon. But I'm lovin' every minute of it. :lovestruc
DH (37) He's a man's man....whatever that means. :lmao: He likes to fish, work in the yard, BBQ, watch football, play sports with me and DS in the backyard. He is a hard worker and we are very proud of him. Last year he was the type of guy who would never admit to the real world that he had a good time at Disney World. This year, he's pretty darn close to being a nut like me. ;)
DS (4) Our pride and joy. He is completely in love with Car's and Toy Story 1 & 2. On our trip in 2007 he was affraid of every character and wouldn't ride any rides. To top it off, we got him on Goofy's Barnstormer and that pretty much sealed the deal as far as him not getting on another ride the entire trip.:sad2: After a year of talking about the last trip, watching ride video's on you tube, and buying him his own "kids" version of Birnbaums, he completely came out of his shell on our Feb 2008 trip. He rode rides, and even filled up his autograph book! There wasn't a character that he was too scared to meet. It was great! He has started playing soccer last weekend and is having a blast with it. In August, he will be starting pre-k.

.....I'VE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON YOU GUYS!
So, my old readers will remember that my last PTR, which was my first, all started because of a binder. I had a binder to organize all the reservations, etc. for our trip. I later find out that there is an entire crew of people who are as obsessed with their binders as I am. Some are worse than I am which makes me feel better. :thumbsup2 I met Jordan on a thread somewhere talking about his binder and that is how I found his PTR. After reading it, I decided that I had to do a PTR too. I had not even thought about doing one before that. :goodvibes
My trip binder has made it through 2 trips now and is starting to show signs of wear. So, what do you think the 2nd thing I did was after DH told me to book another trip?? You got it.....I got a new binder!! I've been secretly filling it with things for our new trip while finishing up my other TR.
Friends new and old, I present to you my new binder.........

Ok, dates.... We are going to the World again From May 3-8th. We are staying 5 nights at Port Orleans Riverside. :rotfl2: This is HILARIOUS to me because DH and I always swore we would never stay at the Port Orleans resorts because we are from Louisiana. What's the point of taking a vacation from Louisiana to be in Louisiana???:confused3 Just seemed silly to us. Well, being as though this is a make up trip, which means it is our 2nd trip in one year. We had to make some cut backs. We took off a day, and dropped our resort price from the Villa's to Moderate. You'd be amazed how much of a difference in price this has made from last time to this time. Anyhoo, I wanted to try CBR but there are conventions going there and frankly I couldn't find very many reports on it that said it was clean. They all complained about how dirty it was. There are 2 things I like in a resort or hotel. CLEAN and QUIET. I compared the PO resorts with Coronado Springs and decided the PO's were prettier and seemed cleaner & more quiet. I originally booked the French Quarter but after seeing Scottny's pictures of FQ and Riverside, it was clear that Riverside was probably the better choice. I called and switched everything over to Riverside. :woohoo:

Dry Prong...isn't that in the sticks?? :rotfl2: Sorry, not laughing at her. "the sticks" just cracks me up. Yes, I'm a moron sometimes.
It's up there north of Alexandria, isn't it? Never been there but I think I know where it is. I'm down south.
I'm really excited about POR. It seems really pretty. I plan on us renting one of those surry bikes. We were supposed to do that at OKW last time but as you can imagine, I was not in the mood to go peddling around the resort.

I didn't request a certain building or anything. I'm not sure which one I'd want. The only request I added was top floor. I hate hearing people walking (or running or jumping) around above me when I'm trying to sleep.
Comparing Mansions and AB, is there any differences inside the rooms?

Ok, let's get down to business! We have booked the Magic Your Way Package w/Park Hoppers & the Dining Plan. So far these are my ressie's in no particular order and as always are subject to change. ;)
Crystal Palace (out of pocket breakfast....we always do this)
Kona
Yak & Yeti
Coral Reef (*must get the octopus juice again*:thumbsup2 )
Tony's Town Square
Boatwrights
Ok, I am planning on canceling Boatwrights for something else. Not sure yet. The night we were eating there, we thought there may be a P&PP. So, usually we like to eat at the resort then head over to PPP. Well, there is no PPP that night. The CM I spoke to said there may be a private party since the schedule still says MK closes at 7pm. Ok, so I thought we'd do MK earlier that day, then just head to DTD for dinner. Well, now the schedule says that MK is open till 9 or 10 (can't remember right now) so we will probably want to go back to MK after DS's nap. So, if I don't get an ADR in MK then it needs to be somewhere close and not a character meal because it takes too much time. Are ya still with me? :lmao:
I also booked us a Carriage Ride through Port Orleans Riverside one evening. I really think all 3 of us will enjoy that. :) We are also going to try to fit in a half day at Typhoon Lagoon somewhere. Still not sure how but I'm trying.
So, there are my quick little ADR's. Still not sure what to do about that one dinner. :confused3

Hey blue,
Here are my thoughts....feel free not to listen to any of them...I won't be hurt....at least not for long.;)
If we had to do it over again, we would've done 1 more Signature Dining meal (2 TS credits/person) or maybe more. It would've given us a little bit more flexibility in our schedule.
For example, instead of Boatwrights and Yak (still can't believe they named it that) you could schedule Jiko......
I would explain more but don't want to bore you......

I see what you're saying. Yes, I'm listening and no you are not boring me!;)
Really, that's what we usually do so I am holding on to that thought. I also had the thought of just canceling Boatwright's and not worrying about finding something else. Thus, freeing up a TS credit and Crystal Palace won't be out of pocket anymore. We don't mind paying OOP for CP, but it was just a thought. Whatever I do, I better get to doing it because my trip is only 1 month and 10 days away!:woohoo: I may not get anymore ADR's!

I don't think a lot of people know about Yak & Yeti yet. At least that's how it seemed during our Januray trip. We arrived early for our 12:30 ADR and were seated right away. We didn't have to wait long for appetizers or our meal. The server explained the entire menu and was super nice. We loved the fried green bean appetizer. Fried veggies are so not healthy, but so good! I hope your experience was a great as ours.
And because of your tr, I'm thinking of adding Coral Reef. I was a little nervous about the seafood there but I'm thinking we need to try it!

Ok, so this morning I discovered some water on the floor in my laundry room. I'm trying to figure out where it's coming from and eventually I have to move the washer and dryer. What's funny is that we moved the washer/dryer over a bit after the hurricane so that we could make sure there was no water back there. Apparently we didn't move them as far as I did today because look what was under the washing machine!!! It was soaked with water and covered in dryer lent but I thought it was worthy of a DIS post before I threw it away. :thumbsup2
It's a ticket stub from the 25 Anniversary! It was also DH's very first trip to WDW. It was also both of ours very first time to stay on property, even though it wasn't at a Disney resort. (Grosvenor) Check the date!! June 1997.

After I moved your report Saturday, I read your links for 3 hours and finished. I'm glad you get to do-over. You will ove POR, make sure you stay in the Mansion section. I know many like the Outback, but I think the Mansions are prettier, plus, it is a easy walk over to POFQ.
Isn't it wierd how WDW things can pop up like that?
Did you figure out where you are going to eat? Sorry, I just read the links tonite? I would say skip Boatwrights-and find something in DTD.
:welcome:
Wow!!! Glad you took time to read my TR.
Yes, I'm super excited that we get a do-over trip.
I haven't requested a specific section as of yet.
I'm definitely skipping Boatwrights after looking at the menu. I'm from La and I can't say that a lot of that stuff is ANYTHING like what we cook over here. :lmao:
What a neat discovery! We were in Disney July 1997 for the 25th anniversary. Do you remember that pink castle? I almost cried when I saw it. Thank goodness that's a distant memory.
Yes, the pink cake/castle scared me!! :rotfl2:
That is too funny. When we did our cruises we had a huge Dis meet... several on the one cruise actually and it was nice to have instant friends all over. I think I will take Jordan's idea of LGMH's on my camera strap anyway.
We were planning on doing a cruise in 2009, but now I think we may have to postpone that another year due to DH's schedule. That sounds like so much fun to have a DIS meet on the cruise.

You're right....time capsule! It instantly took me back. I almost cried.
Memories from that trip....wow!!
Ok here we go, it was DH's first trip ever. We had been married 3 years by that point. I bought the trip with my first paycheck at my new job. I went through a travel agent because back then we did not have a computer/internet, and I hadn't been since 1984 with my parents. I booked us less than 30 days in advance! The travel agent did my ADR's and I didn't know half of what she was talking about. There was no dining plan then as far as we knew. We only had one ADR because we only ate one TS meal the entire 5 days we were there. It was in Italy. We were more CS people back then.
We drove straight through to Orlando in one day. It took us 14 hours. By the time we got there we were not amused. We were so sick of being in the car we couldn't even see straight.
We flew by the seat of our pants for the entire trip. No plans what so ever. But back then we were much younger, much thinner, and much faster. :rotfl2: We got a lot done! We stayed at the Grosvenor because that was the only place that had an opening since I booked less than 30 days in advance. This trip was before Animal Kingdom, and while River Country was still open. We chose to do Blizzard Beach instead. I wish we would have chose RC since it's closed now. Back then there were no big thrill type rides at WDW. I think the biggest "thrill" ride was Space Mountain or maybe Splash Mountain because of the drop. BTMRR wasn't too bad either. I do not remember ever riding Pirates of the Caribbean. I rode it for the first time last year (2007). I have no idea how we missed it before.:confused3
One night we went to Pleasure Island. Back then you needed a ticket to get in even on the streets. We checked out every single club there for at least a minute or two all the way down the street. We did the comedy club and then we danced 2 songs at 8-trax and then headed over to Maniquins for the rest of the night. We got a little (read-LOT) tipsy, then got on the dance floor which slowly spins and when we wanted to get off, we didn't know where we were because it put us in a different spot than when we got on.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That was a fun night! We walked back to the resort.
When I found the ticket, all these thoughts came flooding back. Then I immediately thought "WOW what a difference between then and now!" Now I'm addicted to planning and we know SO MUCH MORE than we did back then. It made me smile, abandon the flood in the laundry room, and run to get my camera so that I could take a picture of my 1997 Walt Disney World ticket with my digital camera to send to my husband in email at work, and to post on the internet to my friends on the DIS. My, my, my how times have changed. :thumbsup2
Here is a pic of DH back then. He would kill me if he knew I posted this.:rotfl2: The fanny pack is red not pink. It's a scanned picture so it's dark and the colors are off. He would soooo kill me if he saw this. :lmao:
I only have this on the computer because I just did a picture slideshow for his birthday. I will have to go look for the rest of these pictures tomorrow. There is one of me too except my fanny pack is blue. I can't believe we both wore fanny packs.

A pink fanny pack may be disturbing to DH, but what's disturbing to me is that we both had one and that they were made from that "parachute pants" material. What is that....like nylon or something?:confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Looks like there was quite a party here last night! DH and I went in 1997 too. It was the first time for both of us in quite a while - first grown up trip. We'd been married about a year - we stayed off-site. My biggest memory was going to Hoopdie Doo Revue - I'd gone as a kid and had wonderful memories of it. It was a lot of fun - once we found it! I'll have to look around for the picture - I think my mother-in-law might STILL have it on her refrigerator.
We walked around aimlessly with no plans. HDR was the only ADR we had. I remember that my boss at the time told me to go to the "steak place in Canada". Of course we tried, but without an ADR (I think it was priority seating at the time), we didn't get in. :sad2:
Love the "Stop, collaborate & listen" sign - I'm going to email it to DH now. :lmao:

Our honeymoon was in Dec too! We got married on the 5th so we would have been there starting th 6th. DH also proposed to me in WDW.
Okay, so sorry Blue, I promise that's the last time I'll hijack your thread.
Boatwright's is pretty good, even though it's not real Southern food. We ate there in Feb. It would do in a pinch, since you're staying there. Did you decide where to eat that night?
I still haven't decided where to eat. I liked Scotts idea about GF so that's an option. I've got "stuff" (see below)going on right now and I can't seem to be able to do trip planning! It's killing me!
December, too...How funny:rotfl:
But we missed ya by a few weeks.....
December 25th thru January 8th:thumbsup2 :santa:
Blue...while you are there, you have got to hit I think it is called t he COTTON GIN at POR.....
Have the most fun Piano Player there...does drunk sing alongs....ya get the picture. ..but it is Disney ,so PG rated:thumbsup2
Sounds like a fun time! Do they let kids in there?
So neat you found that ticket.
Wish I had a ticket from my first trip.
It was back in 1974
I love vintage pics.
Are you going to put more up?
Hope so.popcorn::

Ok, I was planning on talking about what Counter Service meals we may be doing but that will have to wait till the end of this update.
Today my washing machine died. :confused3 I washed a load of clothes and it worked fine. I got to the 2nd load and it just died!! Can you freakin' believe it?? Do you think the ticket had anything to do with it?? Perhaps I should put it back under the washer to see if it starts working again. Needless to say, I was aggravated again today. Seems like stupid things just never stop around here. So, I was dealing with this today. Plus, doing workbooks with DS plus running errands. Then DS's soccer game was this evening. So, by the time we got home we had enough time to eat and clean DS up and put him to bed. I didn't get to look through the picture box. :sad2:
The neat thing is that tomorrow I will head to my mothers to do my laundry because there is no way I'm letting it build up for 3 days until DH can go pick up a new washer. She has the pictures of our trip in 1984....or so she says. I haven't seen these in years!! I will be looking for those while at her house tomorrow. Then hopefully when we get home, I can go find the one's from 1997.
Ok, so on to the Counter Service locations.......
These are the one's we tend to enjoy or are considering trying this time:
Magic Kingdom:
Cosmic Rays
Columbia Harbour House
We were able to try both of these last time and didn't get a bad meal at either one. They are staying on our list!
EPCOT
Le Cantina De San Angel (Mexico) - We did this one last time and it was OK. I think the only reason I'm not saying "good" was because I really don't remember what it tasted like. I was sick, the wind was blowing all the food off of the table, and it started raining on us while we were eating. We may give this another try. Not sure though because there are so many to choose from in Epcot!
Electric Umbrella - May try if we are in the vicinity when it's time to eat.
Liberty Inn- This is on the list in case we can't find anything else that appeals to us in WS
ANIMAL KINGDOM
We are doing lunch for this one at Yak & Yeti so we probably won't be doing a CS here. But our list is:
Flame Tree
Pizzafari
Restaurantosaurus (McDonalds)
DISNEYS HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Toy Story Pizza Planet - DS has already "told" us we are eating here. :lmao:
Toluca Turkey Legs - this is for DH because he STILL hasn't been able to try that darn turkey leg!!
So that's our CS in a nutshell. What are your favorite Counter Service locations at Epcot??

Make sure you google the store that you are buying the washer at! I never buy anything without taking a coupon! Here's one for 10% off one item at Best Buy....https://moversguide.usps.com/img/coupon/bestbuy/200803_clientarea.gif. It's good until April 30.

We always eat at the Cantina de San Angel. Maybe this time you'll actually be able to taste food. I think it's good. That and the pastry shop in France are about the only places we ever eat at EPCOT.

Sorry to hear about your washing machine!!
We didn't end up eating anywhere at Epcot in October. If we were to eat CS it would probably be Liberty Inn - Alex & I are picky... and I don't like the lines at Sunshine Seasons - I think we ate there once (2002?) and had a lot of choices, but had to wait in 3 different lines (for a long time).

The washing machine stinks. That happened to me last year. It sat in storage for 3 years so that might have effected it. Had to buy a new one.
If you like Fish and Chips, that CS in UK has great ones.
I didn't know until recently that Yak and Yeti had CS. We would have eaten there on our trip if I'd known.
Sorry about your washing machine.

I'll be waiting patiently for pics. Hope you have some fun time looking through them.
I'm with Jordan as far as CS meals.
Tangierine Cafe is my favorite. Discovered it last trip and it's the only CS meal I remember.
We have never eaten at Pizza Planet. I am wanting to try it this year, just for the novelty of it if nothing else.

I loved the photo book because we didn't get very many photopass pictures taken. If we would have gotten a lot....or enough to justify the cost of the CD, then I probably would have gotten the CD just so that I could have the pictures to do with what I want.
The book is 20 pages and you can put up to 4 pictures per page. If you go to the photopass website, they will let you play around with it. You can use their stock photo's and get the hang of it first. You can pick the background of each page, and they have pre-made layouts in different categories. It's fun and it always turns out nice. :thumbsup2

Bummer on the washing machine!! I hate when things like that happen :sad2: Is there a scratch and dent appliance place around you? If so I recommend going there for a new washer. We got our new dryer at Appliance Smart and got more than half off because someone sent it back with a dent in it. It works perfectly. Who cares about the dent. :thumbsup2
Can't wait to see your old disney pictures. It's always fun to look back.
As for CS meals....The Columbia Harbor House is good. Pinocchio's is also good if you want to try something new. :thumbsup2
Pizza Planet at MGM is great. I'd recommend going on an off time though because right at lunch it is SLAMMED! I can't believe your DH has never had a turkey leg. Yum!!!
And EPCOT is kind of a bummer on the CS meals. There's really not much to choose from and what there is really isn't that great. We always default to Electric Umbrella because it has the standard hamburgers and chicken tenders.

Some of you may remember the bag dilema in my last PTR. I was trying to find a bag that could fit my camera and my video camera as well as my regular park neccessities. Well, now I have another bag dilema. My last bag is not big enough for my new camera. The camera is not a perfect rectangle so it will not fit. I'm having to shop around for a bigger bag. I really like the messenger bags that Disney shopping has but I'm only 5' 3" so those look like they would be bigger than what I'd want to lug around all day everyday. I just ordered the bag below. I think it's cute! It's another sling type bag but it's a little bigger. It says it can hold a binder in the large pocket, so it SHOULD be able to hold my camera in there. We shall see if this is the bag for me when I get it, I suppose. :confused3 I just hope it's not TOO big. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

This morning we got up early to head out for DS's soccer game. He did really good today. He got the ball and headed down field a few different times. No one ever really makes a goal. But it's still so cute to watch and a good learning/playing experience for them. It's a 3-5 year old non-competitive league.
My mom took us to eat Chinese today for my early Birthday lunch. princess: Every year my mom takes me to lunch for my b-day. 7 days later I will return the favor for her b-day.:lmao: I will be 35 on Monday! I can't believe I'm already halfway through my 30's. I swear I just turned 30 a few days ago!!:confused3 :rotfl2:
Anyhoo, after lunch we did some shopping and I was able to get 2 pairs of shorts and 2 pairs of capri's. I also got 3 tank shirts and 2 short sleeve polo type shirts. Yesterday my new Croc's came in. I got the chocolate colored Mary Jane's. I'm disapointed because they aren't the right color brown for the dress that I have. Bummer. Oh well, they may still look good with a brown shirt that I have and some shorts or something. :confused3
Still waiting on my bag to come in. DS's Monorail finally came in today. After his nap we will set it up. Cross your fingers!! I hope this one works.:wizard:

Totally understand. I'm starting a crazy week myself. First, I will become a "mid-thirties" person, then I get to go hang out in a line of other crazy moms at 4:00am in front of a private school we are trying to get DS into, then film group meetings and activities, more soccer games, then DH gets some time off so hopefully by the end of next week it will slow down a bit. :scared: It's good though. We had to do the wait in line at the crack of dawn thing last year for DS4's preschool. They let kids in first come first served for the first year, but they make you wait in line to get the a.m. session for the second year. It doesn't make any sense to me. :confused3 I made DH go - he sat in his car (the cars actually line up since it is January in NH - they don't make the people stand in line - they don't want to be the cause of anyone freezing to death). DH got there first!! :woohoo:
We thought we were going to have to do it again this year. DS4 is doing a third year of preschool next year (he has a September birthday and the cutoff is Sept. 30th so he's really young), but since we are sending him as a third year, they gave us priority - no line!! :thumbsup2
What is the school you are waiting in line for? Kindergarten/Elementary?
PS - I'll me in my mid-30's this year too (September). :scared1: I'm ok with it, just don't tell me I'm in my late 30's until I'm 39! :rotfl:

Yeah, I will keep at him. He's been trying new things lately so maybe there's hope.;)
What is ettoufee?
Etoufee' (pronounced A-too-fay) is usually prepared with seafood such as shrimp or crawfish and served over rice. The gravy is made with a light roux (roo), onions, and cayenne pepper, and is a reddish color. It is SOOO GOOD!!
Depending on what side of the state you are on depends on the flavor and the spicy-ness. My side tends to be more spicy than New Orleans.
Here's a pic of some crawfish etouffee'....

Sorry I have to cacth up.
So that's our CS in a nutshell. What are your favorite Counter Service locations at Epcot??
Remember that japanese place I told you about in your TR?
That place was great!

Some of you may remember about my "park goals" from my last PTR. I’m not big on setting a rock solid plan for inside the parks. However, I do have “goals”. Whether we meet them or not is no biggie. After what happened last trip, I apparently need to keep reminding myself of this, because I WAY over did it last time while being sick which only made it worse. :sad2:
Here are our park goals for Magic Kingdom in no particular order. There are things we didn't get to do last time, mixed with things we did and loved and just have to do again. We will try to ride and see whatever we can, but these are sort of highlighted on our "goals" list for this trip.
Carousel of Progress- It's a classic. We haven't done it the last 2 trips. It's time.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor- Missed it last time.
Jungle Boat Ride - Missed it last time.
Snow Whites Scary Adventures- Missed it last 2 times...not sure if DS will ride.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- I tried to ride this several times last trip but it was always after dark and it was always closed. :confused3
Splash Mountain- Was closed for refurbishement last time.
Woody's Round up- Keep missing it!!
Country Bear Jamboree- Maybe....depends on if we want to when we pass it. It's on the list because we haven't done it.
Dole soft serve- I got the float the last 2 times, this time I feel the need to try just the soft serve.
Turkey Leg- For the past 2 years DH has been trying to get ahold of one of these and it never works out. :rotfl2: We have to make sure to get him one this time.....besides, I'm sort of curious about them too.
Wishes- We kept missing it last trip. Although, we did make up for it with the P&PP fireworks show. It was AWESOME!! Wishes is a tradition with us. I will not stress over where we are to watch it from this time!:rolleyes1
Card flipper machine- I was told that it is on the upper level of the train station. I did not get to look for it last time. I'd like to find it this time. When I went to WDW as a kid my sister and I found one of these in the back of a gift shop. It said $.01 for a movie. Even in 1984 we thought this was impossible. We ran and asked our parents for a penny and ran back "secretly" as to not alert the rest of the patrons to what we had found. We got in the booth, put the penny in, and watched a small black and white movie. We thought this was the best kept secret in all of Disney World. It was like we had found some sort of magical surprise or something. I'd like to find it and at least get a picture of it if it does't work. :wizard: This is one of my best childhood memories with my sister. Sadly, she says she doesn't remember it. She is 4 years younger than I am so she was around 4 or 5 years old at the time. I'd like to get a picture or video of it and try to jog her memory.

Happy Bday a little late! All the food talk has gotten me hungry. Who am I kidding? I'm always hungry. :lmao: Anyway, like the goals. That's what I did for the band trip. I was really excited to go on Snow White and Splash because BOTH were down when we went for Mardi Gras. We enjoyed both but Splash was definitely the best! I would like to suggest seeing the Block Party Bash in DHS. It's the new 3pm parade - replacing the Stars and Motor Cars Parade. It was cute, very colorful, and had Pixar characters. They even had Boo from Monsters Inc. in her monster costume.

I love doing the flexible goals thing. Problem is that it's hard to stick to. When I walk in the gate I immediately want to start hashing out a plan. :lmao: If I can keep myself from doing that and just go with the flow it makes for a much more relaxed trip. And honestly, I really get less done when I run around like a crazy person anyway.
