We are headed down to the fort the end of April pulling our popup. I have requested loop 1500, but we might also end up in 2000.

It has been a few years since we were there last, and I remember lots of privacy between sites, due to foliage and shrubs.

Looking over this board, I have seen it mentioned that they recently cleaned alot of that foliage out, and now it is more open. Does anyone here have a picture of their campsite from either loop? It would be nice to see ahead of time what to expect ...

Thanks in advance, and hoping for a great trip!

Look at the top of the page and you will see a sticky thread titled picture of your campsite. It has pics from a lot of sites.

Just how naked is FW now, with all the clearing?

While eating in the RV I mumbled to myself about forgetting the ketchup and a few moments later our neighbor brought some over for me to use.

At least you aren't seeing any SUPER SIZED north of the border snowbirds walking on the beach like we have around here who just happen to be wearing a SPEEDO.

Another reason I am so happy to have an early Easter. Snowbirds heading back north.

It may take me the rest of the week to get that out of my head.

I will post pics later of some of the sites. Off to Sea World at this time.

Tony-

Do you remember about 10 years ago when some people from Canada were threatening to sue the Florida Dept. of Tourism?? They said it rained everyday of their vacation and that the Dept of Tourism falsely advertises Florida by calling it the Sunshine State. They wanted to sue the state for the cost of their trip and some extra for emotional suffering. I don't know whatever happened, but I hope D of Tour has banned these people from ever returning!
