Ok instead of an iPod touch in considering a Nitendo Ds. for Nitendo DS owners...is it any fun for 16 yr olds or is it designed for little kids? If anyone has one can you recommend some game titles that are fun for teens?
Thanks again all

Younger kids enjoy the DS, the I-Pod would be the way to go.

You don't neccessarily have to be a kid to enjoy a lot of the games they have for it, though. The Pokemon games are great. WarioWare is a lot of fun, too. There are some games aimed at older audiences, but not many. I think most of what's considered "kids games" for the DS are fun for adults, too.

Like mint said, DS is not kiddie because it has games for everyone, it also has older games it would be a thing to buy later if you decide on iPod. I would get a used DS from a game store such as EB games or gamestop etc. if you have 65-80 bucks to spare after getting a iPod Touch if you decide on that.
The iPod cant have a periphral to play games though, while the DS can get a Opera browser, media dock, etc.

I think DS is for any age. I have a DS Lite and an iPod Nano and I think they're both wonderful. I think really it depends on the games. There are many games for older audiances to enjoy also.

Younger kids do enjoy it, but since when does that mean older people can't like it?
I agree with Mnementh, the Pokemon games and WarioWare are both really fun. Look online and find some games for the DS you might enjoy. If you can't find any, skip any gaming system ever made and just get the iPod. :p

I am 12 and i have two DSs and An Ipod.
I rarelly ever use ,my ipod, i have no idea where it might be, but i sometimes use my ds, it can sometimes be fun and unlike and ipod doesn't run out of battery. DSs can be lots of fun sometimes, like i was talking to my DS while i was playing my RUGRATS game. some of the racing games are very fun when playing with your friends.
PS: My DSs are currently missing too ;-)

Well I'm 14
and I have both a DS and an iPod
I love them both, but it depends on if you like nintendo games if you want to get a DS or not. You should go to a store that sells games and look at the games, and see if there is any of them you'd be interested in (Nintendo games are like Mario, Kirby, Pokemon, Nintendogs, Zelda, Donkey Kong, etc). But, if you don't think you'd enjoy playing those games, you should get an iPod.

I have both an iPod and a DS but I've lost a lot of interest in the DS..I haven't played it in months.
The only game I'd really play on the DS are the Pokemon games; love those. Once I finish them...I don't really touch the DS..heck, I don't even think I know where mine is.
My iPod is great, though. I don't bore myself with it easily and I'm constantly fixing it and putting in new songs/taking out old ones.

Games you might like:
If you like FPS (doubt it) try Metroid Prime: Hunters
A good RPG is Animal Crossing: Wild World or Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
1st party titles:
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Super Mario 64 DS
Nintendogs
They are all great games and are fun for all ages, im 15 and i still like pokemon and ACWW mainly for the collecting factor.

All of those are very fun and also I liked Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass too.
Plus Guitar Hero DS is coming out, no idea how they're going to do it
but they announced it for June.
I say go with the DS, like many others have said.

Just to update you all I decided to purchase a DS. My mom ended up buying an iPod touch last night so I will borrow hers and use my iPod classic for the time being untill she gets sick of it ;) (If its like her last iPod it will be mine in 3 months tops)
Thanks all for the recomendations
