A woman’s trip to the Magic Kingdom was hardly a walk in the park after she says she was beaten up by a woman in a ‘line rage’ incident.

Aimee Krause says Victoria Walker accused her of cutting into the line at the Mad Tea Cup ride last year at Disney World, MyFOXOrlando reports.

Walker, an Alabama native, could face 15 years behind bars if convicted of battery with a deadly weapon.

Krause has now filed additional charges claiming her children were also attacked.

“She came from behind just screaming,” Krause told MyFOXOrlando. “Next thing I knew she kicked me in my left leg, threw me to the ground and at that point I was pinned between the teacup and the saucer and she continued to beat up on my body.”

In the incident report, Krause claimed Walker tried to choke her with a lanyard she wore to hold water bottles around her neck, MyFOXOrlando reports.

During a deposition Monday, Walker declined to accept a plea deal that would have given her a one-year jail sentence.

Jury selection for the ‘Tea Cup Madness’ trial will begin

i'm really sorry. i know this is awful. but that actually had me laughing.

(not the beating part that's totally inappropriate and an terrible thing to happen to someone.)

maybe it was just the way it was written... the teacup madness trial. and the image of a deranged woman deciding to use a lanyard as a "deadly weapon". maybe i'm just having an off day. this situation really shouldnt be funny... :sad2:

I highly doubt that this happened...why on EARTH would a human being throw a woman oto a teacup saucer and beat her up, all for a single ride that makes you want to throw up?

Sounds crazy, but it appears to be true. I've seen it on several news sites.

I thought this was going to be a joke, but it is not! This is just.....well.....there aren't enough words to say what this really is. What a lovely (not!) example this woman displayed in front of so many innocent children.:sad2: How proud her family must be of her.

Did the woman cut in line? If she did and I were on the jury, NOT GUILTY!

For the same reason that a woman once told her children to "run ahead and get that big stall before the girl in the wheelchair gets there." (My DD was the girl in the wheelchair, the "big stall" was the only handicapped stall and we were already headed there when the family entered the ladies' room.) The children (who obviously had more sense than the mom) didn't want to and asked why. The mom's answer was that it if they wanted to change into pants before Illuminations began, they would need to all go in that stall together. The mom dragged one of the kids into the stall and yelled at the other child when she 'dawdled' to tell us that she was sorry.
For some people, it's all about them and only them, even if - like in the Teacups case - it doesn't make any sense.

Why did this woman have to be from Alabama? :rotfl:

I promise everybody from Alabama does not act like this just the ones that end up on tv

Although I must say, I'm surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.
Unfortunately there's an awful lot of seething rage at the Happiest Place on Earth.

I've often wondered what happened to the 'polite' child. Did she stay polite? Or get more like her mom?

Just a pure illustration of how people get worked up over the importance of things that really are not important and take inappropriate actions that have consequences.

How can you compare cutting in line to choking someone??? Being rude is not a good thing, but it's not illegal or potentially lethal!

I'm sorry, this is just ridiculous. It just sounds like a hoax... if you are going to beat someone in front of children on the teacup ride, you have serious problems. This woman deserves jail time.

Definitely not a hoax it made the national news (CNN, etc) when it happened. My parents are CM's (not at MK) and it was the talk of the day:sad2:

MOST definitely not a hoax. I live over by Disney and this was all over the news when it happened on all the major Orlando stations. I didn't get that through a friend of a friend of a friend...I watched it on TV with my own little eyes. And ironically, I don't think the other woman actually cut. You go into a "pen" to wait for the ride right before you get on, and I think they count off the people so everyone in the pen will get on.

All for a ride. Doesn't it make you wonder about people sometimes? And the "stall" lavatory incident is positively revolting. Have we really sunk that far as a society?? Cryin' out loud...

Unfortunately we have sunk that low, people, not all, that go to wdw, they go inside there and all their morals go out the window. I was there one time, leaving with the crowd after the fireworks, and there was a guy and his big family in the line for the tram, that was in the "in between" area, he just hopped the chains, and got where he thought the line was, and when we went to get on, he pushed my son, for him self to get on, and it made me sooooo mad, I griped at him the whole way out to the parking lot. My husband kept telling me to shut up, but hey, do something to me, fine, but NOT my baby!!

OP here, here the link http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,340229,00.html

and for those who think it a hoax I can assure you I have better things to do with my time then making up fake stories;)

The "lady" in question should have taken the plea bargain. The jury is going to eat her up and spit her out! Doubt it will be ten years but hse will get a much heftier sentence when she is found guilty. Had to have been several witnesses. As close to an open and shut case as I've seen in awhile. She will also need a good lawyer to ease the civil judgements she will enevitably face. I hope the victim is okay. Not exactly a magical day for her that day. People never cease to amaze me in their selfishness.
