My last few visits I've stayed onsite but this time I just could not justify the cost for my DS and I. We will be visiting both parks on Monday and Tuesday. We intend getting there as soon as the parks open and then doing as much as we can before the crowds get too bad. I remember at very busy times in the past that they have opened the parks early before advertised time. Do you know if that's been happening this week. Thanks
Tracy

Hi Tracy...I haven't been this week but with it being Spring Break here, I expect the parks have been really busy. Both parks are closing at 10pm until March 30th so if you're coming over during the next week, expect long lines. Remember...the later the closing time, the higher the crowds are expected to be.

Earlier this week, the parks seemed completely packed. Today, the crowds seemed a lot lighter than earlier this week, but still fairly heavy. I have to say I was surprised at the smaller amount of people I saw at USF, but maybe because it's Good Friday?? I imagine Monday and Tuesday will probably be very busy.

Just got back today! Visited the parks Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, crowds were pretty thick by mid day. Of course, getting there early was the key. We stayed on site, so the lines were not a problem , but they were pretty long for the popular ones.

Thanks :) Does anybody know if the parks are opening early at the moment? When I've been there at busy times before they have opened the parks earlier than the advertised time. I certainly plan on getting there for park opening.

Park opening is 9am, but it's not uncommon for the parks to open as early as 830-845a.

So with the parks this crowded, does the front of line pass work? What I mean is are the waits really long even with the front of line passes? Are we talking 30 minutes? 10 minutes? Walk on?
Thanks.

FOTL lines vary. They're usually not more than 15 mins, but that's dependent on how many people with express go in to one spot at the same time.

We've never been to Universal and do not know what to expect for the first week in June, and is it worth the money to buy the front of line passes because we are staying off site. Thanks for your input:confused3

The website is designed for hand-held web enabled mobile devices (blackberries, TREO's, iphones, etc.), but you can access it from your desktop as well. Here is the link:

I noticed that Jaws isn't mentioned on the wait times - last time I went in 2004 it was closed for refurb.....please tell me it's open!

was at the parks on Good Friday, Islands was busier than USF, but that might of been because I only go after 4pm (Premier Pass) and it was 6:30 by the time I got to USF.
The times posted earlier seem to be the same that I remember.
The express lines were the shortest I've ever seen. This I'm sure was because they were using hand scanners for everyone except Hard Rock.
