Any more news? We have some that seem to be taking a long time to arrive.

I'm a little worried about my 4th package. I posted them all out on the same day and one arrived a week ago tomorrow then the 2nd and 3rd the day after. I leave for DLP very early next Monday morning so if I need to resend I would either need to know before then, or it would have to wait until after I get back. Hopefully though it will arrive this week.

My DGrandson, Joshua (age 5) received his pins today. The pins weren't in bubblewrap and the envelope was badly torn with parts of the pins exposed (although the pins themselves were in plastic). The post office had put the whole envelope inside a plastic bag but it looked like the return address was from "Chapman" in Texas. I hope that's right. The pins were in good shape and not damaged. I got my exchange in the mail today but sadly it was not in great shape. It came in a paper envelope without bubble wrap so I guess it poked a hole through the envelope.

Inside was a really cute goofy pin which I think is part of the vmk game. The back of the pin was bent almost all the way down though. I guess something heavy must have been on top of it. I am not sure who it was from, the note must have fallen out. :( If there was anything else in there I am so sorry, it must have fallen out as well.

Mailing in a regular envelope is a major do not do in the pin trading world -- just for future reference. Most likely IF the pins arrive at all, they will be damaged, or weak from mistreatment during mailing. (I recall once even receiving a bubble envelope with a tire tread across it, and a pin back bent all the way down. :rolleyes: )
I use bubble envelopes, and padding around the pin(s). If for some reason I don't have either, I don't mail. (But I always have both on hand. :rotfl2: )

When we go to Disneyland in the summer our flight from London to LAX is 11 1/2 hours!! I hate long haul, but the thought of Disney at the other end gets me through it!!

You guys who fly are so lucky. We drive and oh goodness I hate that 9 hour drive but in the end...so worth it..haha!!

Okay I am here. Sorry. I just got one of my exchanges yesterday, but I had the flu so I didn't feel like getting online to post. I feel much better today. :thumbsup2 I received my exchange from DJT. Thanks so much for the pins and the two little clippy things...they are so cute! I already have the minnie pin you sent me, but it can be a trader for my cruise in July. Also I am going to compare the condition of that one to the one I have. Sometimes if I have duplicates and one is better then I keep the better.

I got a minnie mouse pin and she is wearing a white dress with a red ribbon tied around the waist.

I also received one with (I'm not sure who that is...it looks like goofy, but I know its not. He always played the bad guy in the disney cartoons. But he is wearing a pirate hat and there are two swords beneath him and it says walt disney world.

I also got two little clips that are disney...I think one is minnie and one is daisy. They are adorable! I might put a magnet on the back of them and put them on the fridge because I love them so much. :goodvibes

Mine arrived today. Hurray! My second exchange. The return address says Matt and Dawn in Pa so I'm not sure who its from. I do really like them a lot though!

One has dumbo on it and says participation 2006..the back says that it was given to cast members in 06' so I thought that was pretty nifty.

The other is Gonzo and it says Gonzo the great on it. There is a small hidden mickey in the O of Gonzo. It also says on the back that its a set of five and this is the 5th in that set. So I might have to investigate a little more and find out whats in the set. I am big on collecting sets.

Your Gonzo is part of the Mupphets Hidden Mickey Collection. There is Fozzie, Piggy, Kermit, and 1 other I believe in that set.
