***Spring Disney Pin sent/received***.....COMPLETED!!

Oh I rec'd the pay dirt lode of pins today. (All ones I bought. ;) )
This afternoon we were in Epcot for the Flower and Garden Fest. I restrained and only bought one F&G pin. (Pin 60813: WDW - Flower & Garden Festival 2008 (Logo) 3D)
I did notice some wording I have not seen before -- Limited Release (rather than Limited Edition). So hard telling how many they really made, and if they have more coming. :confused3
But a very nice pin. I really thought about the 4 pin set -- Pin 60820: WDW - Flower & Garden Festival 2008 (Self Portraits Boxed Set). I even had them in my hands a few times.
But I also rec'd in the mail numerous pins I bought from CA :cutie: :cheer2: :rolleyes: and I bought a few others at Co D and Epcot today. :woohoo: :upsidedow
Tomorrow I will try to post some F&G photos I snapped today. The flowers and topiaries are gorgeous.
Another thing I bought was a Mickey Garden Gnome! I am not really into garden gnomes. But could not resist him. :dance3:

What's the traveling Disney store????

It's a company that contracts with Disney to travel around and sell merchandise that they are getting rid of. At reduced prices....not so great this time.
There are a few of them that are permanent store....one is Las Vegas.
It comes here every year and stays for about 2 months at the location I go to.
Being west coat most of the things here are DLR, but they sometimes have WDW and also Universal things.

Look in the stores on eBay and check the feedback. I have found several that have brand new pins, great quality, and fast shipping (well, fast for to Canada - which is apparently the farthest place in the world from EVERYWHERE according to how long anything takes to get here :confused3 ) I can point you in the direction of a couple if you want....

I spend way too much time on ebay looking through pins. The best way I have found to look for them is to go to ebay..click the buy tab in the top corner...choose collectibles...under Disneyana click Cont 1968-now....when you get there look to the left side and click pins/buttons. :) This will bring them all up... then you can save the search up top if you are logged in so you can just one click it each time you go to buying section.

So my newest thing now that I MUST MUST have is the 12 character of the month pins from 2000. I am in love with them and want to frame them up. Sad thing is I don't have a single one of them yet. :(

I can't find this Tink pin I saw today to save my life... it was kind of portrait shaped with a black background I think and Tink was done up in a swirly mix of colors... maybe it's so new it hasn't hit anywhere yet? Oh -- odpt probably does not include DS pins. Someone probably just has not added it to pinpics yet.
I am always surprised at how many pins I add to pinpics.


I can't find it anywhere so I called the store and asked if it had a name, she said no but they had a matching t-shirt coming out soon:) She did say it just came in 2 days ago though... brand new.

I had a fab trip to Disneyland Paris. I bought loads of pins, did some pin trading with CM's, got 5 pins from my wants list plus lots of other pins that made their way into my keepers bag!! I got so many more pins that I had to buy another pin bag to store them in!! So now I have WDW, DL and DLP pin trading bags!! Plus I bought quite a few pins ready for the next exchange, they have some really nice ones that I am sure people here would love!!

I agree - I think Canada must be the FARTHEST place from everywhere :confused3 It's funny - I can order something and have it shipped to Blaine, WA (which is about 20 mins from my house) and it will arrive in 3-4 days. Get it shipped to my house and it can take 2-3 weeks - go figure!

I'll let you know if it arrives today - my mail doesn't come until 2:00 p.m. or so (PST)....
