Hi,
Do any of you veterans think or know if a brand new 3 year old will be sufficiently helped with food/drink if he's in the kids program at lunch or dinner time?

I just have this visualization of my little guy, trying to reach food that's out of his grasp on the buffet line, and to balance a plate with a drink? NO WaY!! What a disaster that'd be!

Or would it be best to just plan on pulling him out and feeding him a quick dinner myself?

Thanks!

They'll help the little ones, cotomom, if you decide to leave him in the programming for a meal or two. They won't let him starve. :) I worried about the same thing when my daughter was younger (barely 5) and she did just fine at meals.

Enjoy! :)

We'll be on the 5/11 cruise with you. We took our twins last year for their 3rd birthday's. I wondered about them dining with the club too. When they go to their designated eating area there were plates of food and drinks already waiting for them (that's what DD told me anyway). They said they never had to get into line or carry a tray.

My twins just turned 4 and they'll be in the same club as your son. DD who's outgoing loved the club, but DS who's shyer went twice and then wouldn't return. We also went on a 4 day cruise last Sept and DS stayed a few more times and participated in the show, but I still had to cancel Palo's ressies for both cruises. We're trying to psych him up this time. I printed a copy of the kids navigator from Barb's website and we keep talking about all the fun things they'll do. I also keep stressing it's just like preschool, only they'll have different teachers than they have now. If you have any more questions, just ask!
