Spring...what's that??? The snow gods have taken a liking to Richmond, and the surrounding areas today:scared1: . Have almost 1 inch of the white stuff so far. It fairly uncommon for our area to get snow this late in the winter. Safe to say that the kids are in heaven. Hopefully spring will be coming to all regions of our country soon, especially those who live in the Atlantic provinces, who are royally fed up with all the white stuff, and want it to dissapear asap.:rolleyes1

Hi DearDaisy in Durham! I live 3 miles from the Vancouver International Airport, 1/4 mile from the Canada Line, and less than a mile from the Asian malls we have here in Richmond. The planes fly across our backyard as they come in for a landing. The noise isn't that bad, as they are powering down to land. Some of the largest malls are Aberdeen Centre, and Yoahan Centre. There are many other Asian malls, but these are some of the largest. There are a ton of sushi places here as well. We go to Yoahan Centre as it's a 5 min drive from where we live, when we have a Chinese food craving. They have good Chinese food cheap. FYI my call name BELLEDOZER is from our 2 original greyhounds. Belle died 3 years ago, and it's my way of honoring her memory. We now have a female greyhound Holly who's a royal brat but we love her anyways (and yes we do have a large male greyhound named Dozer, but that's another story). Hope this clears up your questions.. I went to BC for a MADD conference last year and fell in love with it! Hope to be able to live there some day. I think that is soooo cool that you have greyhounds, do you do rescue? We have a spoiled cairn terrier.

Hi DearDaisyinDurham, I'm having major problems posting to the CDN DIS board, and have contacted tech support for HELP@!!!!!! Grumble, Grumble!!
All of our greyhounds are x racers. Holly is the most prolific, as she was 4 1/2yrs old when she was retired, and raced in 100 races. She placed in a third of the races. Would post more, but am trying to get something to post! Trish
