It just goes to show that too much planning can come undone at the drop of a hat, had planned a three week trip ot Florida, taking in the Keys and bypassing the parks for the first three weeks in September going with my housemate. He's got the chance of a long break in Goa and has decided to do that instead so am now looking at a two week break at the end of August, going with a friend and her daughter.
Best price I can find for 2 adults and a 12 year old was around £2,400 staying onsite, with dining included. I'm not particularly bothered about staying on-site but would prefer to be around the Disney area, not gonna be driving so location is quite important. Does anyone recommend the Lake Buena Vista area, that seems to be quite close to Disney - cheaper the better!
Many thanks in advance! :)
Oops, sorry, we're looking at flights out on the 29th August!

Not sure what airport you want but direct from Lon or Man is about £530 each for the flights, so that would leave you with about £800 for accomodation for the three of you for a room for two weeks.

seems like a good price on Disney property and with dining. If you are looking for alternatives then have a look at the I drive area - Orlando Metropolitan (formerly I Drive Inn) for two weeks 1 room less than £300 - and they offer free transportation to Disney (ok its not as convenient for everyone but its still an option) and you are perfectly located for Universal ($6 cab ride or 15/20 min walk) just across from Wet N Wild and on the I ride trolley route for Seaworld/Aquatica. Also the selection of restaurants is good in the area (most just a short stroll away)
Have a look at maps on www.iridetrolley.com - this will give you a good idea of what is in the immediate area.
Good luck with the planning !!!!!:wizard:
