Anyone fly out of Kansas City lately?

I am wondering how their security has changed since 9/11. Before, you went thru security when you entered the gate to wait on your flight, and had to go back thru security every time you exited, ie. to go to the restroom, food court, etc. Since people are supposed to arrive at the a/p at least two hours ahead these days, how has this impacted the KC airport and their gawdawful (sorry, but that my opinion) security gate?

It's the same procedure. I have never been more throughly checked then when I flew back from WDW on 9/15 to Kansas City. I was really glad though better safe than sorry.

KC's Layout makes the security more difficult than most airports. That being said, I thought they handled it pretty well.

BTW ... I refuse to potty on the plane too...
No international flights for me!
