Do one have to buy a package to order an Unlimited Hopper Pass? We got our room with a castmember discount, and so just need tickets.... We had planned to buy UHP's for the family...

No, you don't have to buy a package to get UHP as long as you're in a Disney hotel you can have them added to your room at check in. Many have reported that this is better as you can have either check in or check out day dropped if you don't think you'll be able to visit a park.
