On our previous cruises I've taken baggies and put ice in them to keep our drinks and snacks cold while on excursions and CC, but the last time the baggie leaked and ruined everything in my bag. I considered those refreezable packets, but I can't freeze them in the cabin's fridge. What has everyone else done to keep stuff cold. If you used baggies-which brand did you use? Thanks:)

I use the ZIP-LOCK brand of FREEZER BAG. They seem to hold up better than some other brands. I have never had a problem with them leaking.

I also use ZipLocks but I double bag the ice to make sure I don't have surprises from leaks or punctures. We take a collapsible cooler with us most places and as the day goes on, I drain the melted water from the bag to ligten my load. This works great for us!

I agree with the collapsible idea. Ours was big enough for 6 cans and some snacks (they have several sizes). It had a sholder strap, as well. And, it folded flat to pack in our luggage. Worked great. And, our room steward filled it each time we left it in our stateroom.
