My kids don't drink soda. We don't buy it much so they prefer milk, juice or water.
We are on the ddp.. DD (11) as an adult and Ds(4) as a child. Do most restaurants offer alternatives to soda on the DDP?

Everywhere we ate in 2006 had choices of drinks. Milk, juice, bottled water at the C/S places and Milk, Juice and sometimes smoothies at the T/S places.

We were at Disney just last week on the DxDP and every place we went offered alternatives to soda. I believe every place offered milk, all but one offered chocolate milk. They also offered lemonade or juice. Kona Cafe included smoothies and California Grill included virgin daiquiris.

Thank you very much. It's a small thing but it makes a difference to know there are some healthy alternatives:)

You are entitled to any non-alcoholic drink on the menu except ones that come in a souvenir mug or with a glow cube. That means shakes, smoothies, pirate punch, juice, milk, etc....

Last August when we went I was rarely able to get anything other than soda, juice or milk :confused3 I would ask for a bottled water at TS restaurants and was usually told it wasn't included and would have to pay for it separately. We ate at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Kona, CRT, Yacht Club Galley, Cape May Cafe breakfast, and Le Cellier.

CS restaurants though always let me get a bottled water :thumbsup2

I'm assuming iced tea is included? What about coffee like espresso or cappuccino? :surfweb:

I used the DDP at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace and received juice, at Konas and Le Cellier twice I've received either a smoothie or shake. Now at CRT I just ordered iced tea, so don't know about that one. I'm afraid I've never been to Cape May breakfast or Yacht Club Galley, so also don't know about them.

At Whispering Canyon, 50's Prime Time, and Sci-Fi, I know shakes are included as a beverage on the DDP. At Chef's de France and Spoodles I got bottled water. At Tutto Italia I got some really good lemonade. At the Turf Club I got some delicious blackberry lemonade.

We've had smoothies (awesome) and juices and no extra fee. The smoothies are SO good. Except, no refills, but that's okay then we switch to water.
