I have been trying to decide what type of bag for my 2 sons to wear at the park. I just want them to be able to carry their money, autograph book, pen, and maybe a gronola bar. I looked at Amazon and they have Everest child fanny packs for $4.95 each but they look small. I need to get thme quick!!We leave the 29th!! Any ideas. Thanks!!

You couldn't make my little brother carry a bag if you tried! How old are your DS's? Do they have any favorite characters? Maybe a bag with their favorite Disney characters on it would work! Or what about a small backpack?

They are 8 and 10. They don't want anythng with characters on them. I was thinking either a fanny pack or small messenger but haven't seen anything for kids.

Our Walmart has smaller fanny packs. They are more for adults but you might be able to adjust them for children. I saw them yesterday.

I'm planning to have DS and DD each carry a small backpack for our trip (Mom can't carry everything!)
I haven't really started to look yet- let us know if you find something good and have a great trip! :wizard:

I don't know if it would be too long for kids though.

Irky...do you wear that bag across your chest...is the strap long enough for that?:)

Yes...it's definitely long enough for that and I am not short - about 5'10". It also fits across the chest of my DBf who is 6'.
Here are pictures of us wearing them that way....

I actually really love this bag. It's the perfect size for us, because we don't bring much.

I got this one for my 9 year old son: http://www.beltoutlet.com/fabwaispacby.html
It will be big enough for his sunglasses, autograph book and pen, and a snack or two-- that's all he needs!

Glad I could help! It is great. I just took it to the zoo today. It sometimes doubles as my purse because I can't carry anything on a shoulder for too long or I get really bad neck pain. Let me know if you have any other questions about it.
