View Full Version : Petting zoo now gone?

Recently there was a thread--I think on the resorts board?--about Fort Wilderness, and a few posters said the petting zoo is now gone--that all the animals were moved to AK. Is this true? If not, what animals do they still have at the petting zoo?

Really? It appeared to be gone in December, but I did hear they were bringing it back.

It's just not what it used to be - they removed alot of animals, left some ponies and gatordad. There used to be goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, other small animals.

WOW I needed that, that was funnnnnnnny!!!! The only thing left was a few ponies, and some signs not to pet them.

They have some horses but the signs say not to pet them. But I did anyway.
Several of the little ones were just to sweet not to.

Last time I saw it there was a small pony, one drunk otter and two sick peacocks. And of course gatordad -- he was parked illegally in his golf cart though.
