We are looking for a part time DBA. The work could be performed evenings and weekends so this would be ideal as some extra part time income.
The candidate must have:
Proven commercial experience with MySql in a Red Hat environment.
They need to be experienced in backup systems and Innodb conversion and use. Some windows server experience would be helpful for front end interfaces.
If you are interested and you meet the qualifications listed above please email me at webmasteralex@wdwinfo.com

You know, when you have no idea what this is talking about, it comes out real funny. It could be an underground novel: My Squirrel in a Red Hat Environment. The opening line would be: Innodb, who always had trouble pronouncing his name, was having an odiferous experience with his backup system, his front end was quite bent out of sorts, and he needed to interface with someone who could calm what ailed him.

I am obviously unqualified.

I at least knew what the SQL was as we use it at work, but the Red Hat environment got me.

Red Hat is an open source operating system. MySql is a relation language that works with the database software Innodb. Alex, do you do on the job training? :goodvibes
