Star Wars weekend...Who's going?

We just booked our trip. June 5 - 9th. So excited! It's going to double as our first anniversary present to each other too. Our anniversary is May 20th.
We will be staying in the Mighty Ducks buliding of ALL Star Movies. Big hockey fans too.

We are huge SW geeks. ;)

I'm going June 16th to June 23rd. My first Star Wars Weekends!

We will be there June 7 -15, we are going to try to go for both weekends. DH and BF DH are huge star wars fans.

This is our first year going to SWW. We are staying at the Beach Club and We will be there June 5 - 15 hopefully we will have time experience as much since we will be there for 2 weekends.

This will be my first SWW, and I will be at POP 6/6-6/16 and will try to hit both weekends... What can I expect at MGM that weekend? Completely full park?

What are we allowed to bring into the park to get signed? They just announced Warrick Davis is hosted all 4 weekends, and David Prowse and Peter Mayhew for the 2nd weekend, I would love to get all 3 of them to sign my Return of the Jedi Poster (honestly, that would make my trip)...

Any tips for first time SWW people?

We're going to be in WDW June 7-14 so we're planning on going to SWW Sunday June 8th and Friday June 13th. (eek, Friday the 13th!)

This will be our very first SWW and we are excited! But we are also clueless! So I want to learn as much as I can about it...knowledge is power.

What dates will you guys be going? What specific things do you want to do? What are your plans so far?

As I said right above the previous poster when I will be there.. I am still wanting to know if we are allowed to bring in a poster (rolled in a tube) to get signed?

We'll be arriving on June 15th and leaving on the 21st, so we will hopefully be able to hit the end of the first one and the beginning of the second. I have a house full of SW nuts, so they are incredibly excited. I am too, although I'm not letting on..lol.:cool1:

Really wanted my 8yo DS to experience this since he's gotten into Star Wars recently.

We're driving down June 12th, will arrive at dinner, stay at the park ALL DAY LONG on Friday June 13th (TOT ride on Friday the 13th...cool!) and return on Saturday June 14th!

Yeah for SWW. We are arriving on June 18th and staying at AKL for 6 days. The last time we went to WDW was 10 years ago on our honeymoon. We are bringing our kids for the first time. My son is four and a half and my daughter is three and a half. They have recently had Star Wars movie nights at home and are totally into Star Wars in a big way. We haven't told them about the trip yet or that it will be SWW. I can't wait to see their faces. I'm going to pack my son's light saber....

We're arriving on June 22nd and going straight for HS - I'm the Star Wars fanatic in my family :) I'm sure that by the time we'll get there the park will be swamped BUT I don't mind that's the fun!

Yeah, so this is our first SWW: June 6th-June 11th @ POP. Big fans here as well although I'm very happy DH doen't want to spend his time waiting in lines to meet the special guests. Our plan is to arrive for the 11 o'clock parade to see the Star Wars characters (really excited about this!) and then maybe some photo ops- that's all. But the vibe around MGM er DHS should be cool :thumbsup2

We'll be there June 4-11 at POP! This is our four Star wars weekend! Be sure to get there early enough to catch the Stormtrooper over the turnstiles! They are Hilarious! If you see us, say hi!!

We are going June 12th thru the 21st. We are planning on going to DHS on the 14th my husband and daughter loves Star Wars I am really worried about the crowds though.

And don't forget the new Toy Story Mania ride! :cool1: It's great! Use the single riders line if you can and if the lines are long.

We will be at DHS on Friday June 13 and Sat June 14. My 6 year old DGS is so excited he is becoming overwhelmed!!! He just wants three things - to fight Darth Vadar, to be in the parade, and to get as many characters as possible to sign his autograph book. Luckily he doesn't really care to have actors sign his book he is all about the big fuzzy Chew Bacca. May the Force be with us ALL!!!:yay:
