Booked National for Feb 2003(President Weekend)

Just made my ressies for National (Emarald Isle member) for Feb 14-20 in 2003(President's weekend). For the week with all taxes included, it came to $188 for the week. I know it is early but I don't think the rate would be much better down the road.;)

I booked our full-size with National in January for November and our total with DC discounts came to $185. I was lucky and booked before the rates went up. Congrats!

Check the rates again in the late summer/early fall, that's when they usually go down. You can always rebook & cancel the old one. I have a rate of $139 incl tax for a week in May, I booked it in October (EA, DC). I also booked last December around the same time, got a rate of $114. We always go in December and I've seen it happen the last 3 years, the rates go way down at the end of summer.

Thanks! I'll keep checking for a better rate although I think we've decided to ride in style with ********.net as a special treat for our sons.
