Looking to make a room request at the CB, but have never stayed there before. I did request Martinque, but which room would you recommend???

We were at CBR during Christmas last year. I would say any room in Martinique Bldg 25. There are no parking lot views, it's quiet, and it's just a stones throw away from Olde Port Royale. We absolutely loved this location when we were there.

We were in Martinique 24 on the pool side with a corner room. :) I really liked it. :) It was close to our car and close to OPR. :)

My only suggestion would be to not be so specific as to request a certain room. It sets you up for disappointment if you don't get it. If the one you want is not going to be available during your time frame, the room assigner will have no idea where to put you to make you happy. In general, limiting requests to general locations like "Martinique 25, second floor" will be your best option. The more specific you get with your requests, the harder it will be to get them.

I found CBR to be VERY accommodating. We ended up staying at Trinidad North. We were going to be given the one across the water.. and furthest away, and I didn't want that. However.. when I took Trinidad North.. we were on the ground floor... corner room.. facing the water. At first, I thought it was far.. but it was beautiful. We'd stroll down the path by the water.. and it took us about 5 minutes to get there. We were one of the first stops on the bus route.. so we always got a seat. This was a wonderful resort. We're staying at the AS Mo and WL in April.. but we're going back here to *visit* too.

Anyone have a preference for first or second floor at Martinque and why? Thanks.

We were in 4218, Trinidad North, water view, right next to the beach and a stone's throw from the food. That room is way up there. :)

Jamaica 4521. Lake view, corner room, ground floor. About three giant steps away from the foot of the bridge. Oh, and pretty close to those all-important garbage cans too.

How many stories are these buildings? Thanks.

Two-stories. If you've got small kids and a stroller, first floor is highly recommended.
