Loop 2000

What's the best site. We leave in a few weeks and I want to know what to ask for, so come on and post your favorites.

Not sure if you've checked it out or not..but there's a great "sticky" at the top of the forum page where campers have posted photos of their sites. Give's you a good idea of what they look like..and it will make you wish you were there now!;) I can't help you out with the 2000 loop, as we have only stayed in the cabins. We are planning an August trip and hope to stay in the 600 or 200 loop..haven't decided on which to request yet.

The tent pads are raised up on railroad ties. The better sites are the ones that the pads are level to the ground. You could fax in a request for Loop 2000, sites 18-22 backing up to the canal. You may or may not get it.

That being said, for a secondary request, I would ask for near Creekside Meadow and the Comfort Station. There is a bridge over the canal in Creekside Meadow that leads to the 900 loop and then on the the Meadows Trading Post.
