My Mickey Lamp Post

I am so excited! I lead my Dad to this site, to the thread about how to make the Mickey Lamp Post.

I asked him to make me one for our trip in two weeks.

Well, he just called. He finished it in one day. He lives in FL I live in GA. I will pick it up on my way down to FW.

He added one extra thing to my Lamp. He put a photo cell in it where it is like a sensor lamp. When we come back to camp after dark our Mikey Lamp Post will lead us home!!

Thanks so much John. He had such a good time today. He is really proud of the job he completed.

This is the happest that I have heard him since before my step mom died last May. Thanks again John!!! :hug:

Hmmm, I really like that photo cell idea. I'm making one for the parents before one of our future Fort trips, I'm going to have to remember that. Thanks! And can't wait to see it!

I put a photocell in the one I built last year and it worked great. It was always on when we came back to the campsite after dark.
