So this weekend DH & I bought the 28 day plan.
Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

Has anyone else used this plan? TIA

2nd day...so far so good.

I didn't realize how much storage room it needs with both of us using the plan...

My mom does NS and has had great success with it! There are definitely some foods that are better than others. Pretty quickly you will discover which ones are keepers and which ones you will never try again. Beware of constipation, though...I'm just sayin....:rolleyes1

I started on the 21st also! I have done pretty good so far and getting all my servings in-- it has been tough getting all the veggies and fruits in. But I am down 3 lbs from my weight on Fri! It may be water but I'll take it!!!

How does Nutri System work? Do you just eat the frozen meals? Or is it more than just that?

I started on the 21st also! I have done pretty good so far and getting all my servings in-- it has been tough getting all the veggies and fruits in. But I am down 3 lbs from my weight on Fri! It may be water but I'll take it!!!

Me too!!!! 3 lbs., water or not I'm still happy!

I am having a hard time with the salad at lunchtime, I just don't want it....I have skipped the salad a few times.

The meals aren't frozen....you do add fruits, veggies & dairy everyday.

I've been doing Nutrisystem since 1/18/08 and love it. Have lost 15 pounds. I earned my first 10 lb. bear and received it with my last order.

It is expensive, but it's definitely keeping me motivated - I can't afford to cheat and waste the money. :thumbsup2

As an FYI.. I've found from the Nutrisystem discussion boards that you can definitely do the program on your own. There's a great website (not sure if I can post it here - if anyone wants the address, PM me) that basically tells you which food is comparable to Nutrisystem's and tells you the nutrition stats you need to basically do it on your own. I'm planning on doing this for maintenance once I get to my goal weight. Will really save me $$$.

For each 10 pounds you lose, you get a different colored "NutriBear." I believe you just have to log your weight on NS's site for them to know how much you've lost, then you're supposed to automatically receive it in an upcoming shipment. If you don't get the bear, you can contact customer service.

I was actually surprised at how proud I was when I opened up my box and saw the bear. It has a nice little tag that congratulates you on the weight loss. This is the first time I've really tried so hard to lose weight. Here's a pic of mine:
