I know that a non-alcoholic beverage is included with the Dining Plans.. but can it be a specialty drink (non-alcoholic, of course)? I saw where some places have drinks in souvenir cups, milkshakes, etc.... are these included?
We're still trying to decide between the DDP or DxDP.. if you have done the deluxe was it way too much food? Did you feel like you were eating non-stop?
Thanks!!!

We just returned and had the normal DDP and the kids could get unlimited pop or milk or chocolate milk but no specialty drinks. They wanted the pirate punch that comes with a lit up tinkerbell or pirate at Bomas and I asked the waiter and he said no. Now when we went to WCC and Sci-fi they got the milkshakes included and didn't have to substitute them for there dessert. hope this help.

The past two years when you go with the milkshakes we only got 1 but if soda or ice tea as many as you can drink.

This might have changed, but last year when we went to Tony's Town Square on the DDP, we were able to order the specialty drinks but it would not come in the souvineer mug or have the special straw.

The last few times we used the DDP (May '07, Sept '07, and Dec '07) we were able to get milkshakes, smoothies, flavored sodas, and flavored lemonades as beverages. The specialty drinks in the special mugs, with the light up ice cubes, or clip on straws were not allowed.
