We are looking for somewhere to eat near Rogers Centre. After scouring the net, I came across this place.

We really want a place that take reservations since our meal will be right after the Disney Princesses on Ice show gets out and all the area restaurants are bound to be packed.

Any opinions? Other suggestions? We are 3 adults and a 3 and 5 yr old.

Thanks!

Badali's is great, one of our favourite places to go. You don't mention what day you want to go plus I am assuming it is for dinner (as they aren't open for lunch on the weekends). If there is a hockey game etc. on that evening the restaurant will be totally packed (so will everything else) so you want to make sure you have a game plan.

The food is good, wine selection good and the atmoshere is fun. Hope you have a good time!

Thanks so much for the info. It's always hard picking a place from the Internet!

We are going to the Disney Princess show at Rogers on Monday March 24th at 3pm. The show lets out at 5:15, so we wanted a place that takes ressies. I just did their online reservations and I hope to hear back that they have a place for us.

Do you think it is within walking distance of Rogers? The map makes it look walkable, but who knows how "to scale" it is.

Thanks for your help - we can't wait to try it.

Yes, it is close. Come out of the Rogers Center, down Blue Jay Way to Front St. Turn right onto Front and it is probably about a 5 minute walk. It is on the left hand side.

Have a great time, the restaurant is huge so I can't imagine them not having room.

Thanks so much. I got an email that my ressie was approved. Looking forward to trying it (and glad we'll actually have a table somewhere!).

Have fun at the show and at dinner and please let us know how it was! My old fall back is the spaghetti factory. I need to branch out.

Hi Daisy,
Thanks! I will let you know how it was. We're really looking forward to it.
I thought about the Spaghetti Factory, but I haven't been in many, many years, so I searched the net for some reviews and it doesn't get great reviews anymore. Have you been recently? Restaurant reviews are so subjective, it's hard to make a decision based on those. Joe Badali's looks really close and their menu on their website looks really good. It also states that it is 12,000 square feet of dining space, so I figured we'd have a better chance of getting a table.
Have a great night!

Hi!
I only ever get the mushroom spaghetti and hubby gets the hot sauce so I guess if that's what you're going for there, you're safe

we do need to branch out though. we tried hard rock inside the rogers centre but it was just all right for us. hard rock on dundas square was better

have you ever tried st. lawrence market? it's wonderful on a Saturday but CROWDED

if it's ever just "the girls" I've heard the high tea at royal york is fun (pricey) for a special day

wherever you go and whatever you do, have loads of fun!!:flower3:
