View Full Version : What grocery stores are open late, or all night, in the Disney area?

Hi everyone. I am staying at the Windsor Palms resort in a few days. Our (my family and I) flight comes in at 8pm, so by the time we have our bags and rental, I think a typical grocery store would be closed.

What chains are bigger and therefore would be open late?

(Our condo has a Kissimmee address - but is actually just south/southeast of Disney.)

Thanks to anyone with ideas,
Spaceace

most of them, if you google "lake buena vista grocery store" you may get some results on grocery stores near lake buena vista.

heres what I found by surfing the net...

Disney Area Grocery Stores

Goodings Lake Buena Vista - SR 535 & Hotel Plaza Blvd Tele. (407) 827-1200 open 24 hours
• More expensive than Publix or Winn Dixie, but very nice.
• Located in the Crossroads shopping area directly across from the Downtown Disney entrance to WDW.
Directions to Goodings:
o Follow signs to Typhoon Lagoon/Downtown Disney.
o Pass Typhoon Lagoon, pass most of Downtown Disney.
o Veer to the right when the road forks, getting on Hotel Blvd to pass the Hilton & others.
o At the end of that road you'll be directly across from Crossroads, where Goodings is.

Publix - 4870 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, Tele: (407) 909-8080 (unsure of hours)
• also very good.
Directions to Publix:
o At the light by Crossroads (Apopka-Vineland Rd), turn right.
o Go under I-4 and turn left at the next (quick) light into Little Lake Bryan.
o Follow that road past the big Catholic church, past the Premium Outlets; Publix is behind the outlets.

Winn-Dixie - 11957 South Apopka-Vineland Rd, Orlando Tele: (407) 465-8600, Open daily 6 a.m. to midnight
• located approximately 1/2 mile north of the Crossroads Shopping Center on the right side of the road.
Directions to Winn-Dixie:
• Go to the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd and take a left on Apopka-Vineland Rd (535).

Beer/Wine
• buy at either Goodings or Publix; both have a fairly large selection
• Disney prices tend to be really high (a bottle of wine sold in the food court at AKL for $24-35 is $7 at the local liquor store.)

Goodings is expensive, but it's also very interesting. The last time I was in there (this was maybe 5 years ago), at least some of the aisles had carpeting! It was the first grocery store I saw that had carpeting! LOL!

There's also a Walmart not too far away that is open 24 hours a day.

Have a great trip! :)

We always shop at Publix or Walmart. Our villa is on Islo Bronson Mem. Parkway. I like Publix, they carry almost everything (food, beer, wine, beach towels, swimming stuff and much more). The Walmart is opened 24 hours and is very nice as well.
