That depends on where along the parade route you are...

Well...it technically STARTS at 3pm, but like the PP said, depends upon where you are viewing the parade...it may 'start' at 3:05, or 3:10, or ever 3:15...keeps things interesting! :)

It actually started after 4:30pm on the day we were there to see it.
But they had been filming the Christmas parade earlier that day.

With or without Daylight Savings Time???
That reminded me of a funny story. The receptionist in the place that I worked was religiously following the O.J. trial. (the first one) The day that the verdict was supposed to be announced, she couldn't wait for the announcement. She asked for the millionth time what time the announcement was going to be made. We responded that it was going to be at 3 pm (our time), 12 pm California time.
Her first reaction was..."that's not fair, how come they get to know 3 hours before we do". Kind of speaks for itself, don't you think? :confused3

like others have said - depends on where you are sitting.

If you include the time you go reserve a spot and wait for the 3pm parade in your calculations, then it begins at 2pm (or even earlier in some instances).

What's funny about this is that the cast members have to be trained to give a certain response. Like it starts at 3 but will go past that spot at 3:15.

Funny I was telling my DH how annoying some questions the CM 's have
to deal with all day.....like the "3pm parade"...
I was also there during the xmas taping and there was a big sign
walking into M.K that day that said...
The 3pm parade will be at 5pm today:lmao: :rotfl2:

That is the most commonly asked question to custodial cast members. More than the actual parade time, guests are looking for hints as to where to sit and what time it pass through each land.
So, the answer is, it depends...

LOL After I read the title of this thread to my son, I ask him the same exact question. :rotfl2:

I can't vote for either choice. There is no parade named "3 O'Clock Parade." ;)

It depends on whether or not Disney is open that day...and also if you can read a clock.

You mean Orlando time? Or kaytieeldr wristwatch time? And which watch - the one that never changes from Daylight Savings time? The one that's always set to Eastern Standard time? Or my Las Vegas watch?

It starts right after the family of 6 with 4 teenagers come off their 10th go-round on BTMR and squeeze between the rope and my 3 and 5 year old daughters who have sat patiently for 45 minutes so they could wave to Cinderella.
