So DP and myself are sitting in traffic on the way to work this week:

DP: "What date did we go to Disney last year? (Totally out of the blue, we weren't talking about Disney or holidays or anything remotely related.)
Me: "First week of December"
DP: "So the annual passporty things run out at the end of November..."
Me: "Yep"
DP: "Hmmm"
Me:
DP: "So.... would you consider a few days in November maybe?"
Me: :scared1:  :scared: :bitelip:
Me: (thinks) "did I hear right?.... is he sick?.....did the bodysnatchers get him?"
It's a good thing he was driving because I would have gone off the road, and he would have seen my tonsils because my chin dropped so far.

It took me a full five minutes to string together a coherent sentence and by that time we were nearly at work - so the most I got out of him was that we might as well take advantage of the APs!

Can I just say that I wasn't sure he would go for it when I first suggested a visit and despite the fact that he had a ball, I really didn't expect that he would be up for a second visit in less than a year. I didn't even consider suggesting more than that (I was relying on getting a free extension of the APs and then using that as bait for next year - hee hee:stir: )

I'm still not convinced that mind altering drugs or cult recruitment aren't involved, but for the moment I'm rejoicing quietly - and letting the rest of the mad people know that we may have added a new recruit.

To be honest, I'm still slightly dazed by his behaviour so didn't really say anything in response then or later..... BUT I find it's best to let these things settle - it was his idea so I'll let him develop it a bit before 'taking over' - but I'm secretly estatic.:cloud9:

Once you have visited DLRP and have had any food or drink the mind altering drugs start to work it slow so not to alert the general public but the magic pixie dust :wizard: soon takes over and we have another convert to our cult (dont tell torchwood about this)

So, what have you booked? :lmao:

Happy planning, and it's true what others are saying, there is definitely something addictive in the water there! I never thought DLRP would really appeal to me, after all, we had been to the original DL in California twice!

Having said that.... we've been 3 times in the last two years, have two trips booked for this year, and I'm still wondering when I can slip the next one in! :hippie:

What great news - seize the moment and book your trip asap before the drugs or cult involvement or both wear off! :cool1:
