or can DH take Ds and order at one thing and DD and I order something else
or can we take them to a buffet to eat fdinner early then take them back to the child center and we go for dinner on our own ?

You should be okay ordering different meals at different places, but you won't be able to take the kids to a buffet without paying for yourselves, either with DDP or OOP.
