Living so close to WDW, we go there on a fairly regular basis. However, over the last year or so, things have gotten so bad crowd-wise, that we are now making less trips. Just do not like the wall to wall bodies. Even the previously slow times, September, January, and December have now become a lot busier.....just my observations.:sad2:

Does anyone know if these are new records for the WDW parks?

I searched for historical attendance levels, but came up with nothing.

If WDW is reaching new peaks in park attendance, then it might be time to consider adding a new park. I know wishful thinking.

It is really fun to read those. There is no comparison between MK and Universal. I hear negative things about AK and Disneyland Paris, but even they have greater numbers than Universal.

I'd like to see what happens with the numbers when the Harry Potter themed stuff opens at Universal. I doubt they will be in league with MK and DL, but they might take at least 3rd or 4th on the list with Harry Potter.

Couple thing sI find interesting:

Universal promotes Wet n' Wild as the most popular water park in the country (which it's not) and Universal Studios as the most popular television and movie studios in the country (which it's not.)

Also a bit surprised that Typhoon Lagoon beat Blizzard Beach.

Why is that NOT considered false advertising? Unless it is and Disney is just so huge they really do not have to worry about it.

I think TL is actually larger than BB, or at least has more capacity.

I know a couple of weeks ago BB reached a Stage 4 closing (shut to all Guests) while at TL we did not go beyond Stage 1 (Parking lot closed to cars, Disney buses and taxicabs allowed in) on that same day.

Have you watched any of those assinine infomercials? Do you think any of them are telling the truth? That's why false advertising runs rampant, and nothing will ever be done about it..........:confused3

Just too many people to step around to enjoy yourself anymore.

Where are you seeing these commercials? I've never heard Universal promoting themselves like that.
