If I remember correctly they can be substitute for a TS? I thought I read about trading 2 CS for 1 TS but can't find that information anywhere. :confused3
I tried searching but could not find anything.

I've heard of people switched CS to snacks, but not CS to TS. Anyone else have any info on this?

I know they did that during free dining last time because the table services were so jammed and not everyone could get reservations. I'm not sure if they do it all the time?
ETA: What I remember is you trade in 1 TS for 2 CS and a snack, or something like that, not the other way around.

TS is TS and CS is CS and never the 2 shall meet :rolleyes1
I do understand that they did do it once, during free dining because there was no TS dining available, so they allowed TS to be used for CS. But that was a one time thing.
As they've tightened up the DDP, substitutions have disappered.

Our 2005 trip was during free dining, and I don't think they anticipated some of the problems that occured, since it was the first year for it.
I had ADR's for all but one evening during our trip, but we couldn't find anything available for that night. We were allowed to trade 1 TS for 1 CS credit...not at all an even trade, but it was better than nothing...or waiting hours for a TS restaurants with a 2 & 3 year old.
I have never hear of trading CS for TS before...just the other way around when things are super busy.

That's probably what I read and I'm remembering it wrong or dreaming about it :rolleyes1
