We will be at AKL during Easter .....questions

Does anyone know if they have any special activities? Easter egg hunt? Can you arrange for the Easter bunny to bring a basket to your room on Easter morning?

All the WDW hotels can arrange Easter baskets for delivery to your room. The AKL didn't open until the day after Easter(at least to the general public) last year so I don't know if they'll have an Easter Egg Hunt but most of the other hotels do so they probably will have something special. I don't remember the AKL being decorated for the holiday. We arrived there Wednesday after Easter but that could have been due to the Grand Opening. We will be staying there for a few nights after Easter this year too. It's an amazing experience. I hope it will be just as magical this year. Last year we were there for the birth of the first animal born since its opening an ankoli cattle calf. A rare treat.

how do I arrange to have easter baskets delivered to our room? Does anyone know if they have different types of baskets for different age groups? Thanks

You buy the items you want in the basket, and then bring them to a set location in every hotel, (@the Poly its the Gift Shop upstairs) and they sell you the basket and arrange for delivery on easter morning. Im not sure if they have premade ones or not, but we always make our own and find it to be more tailered to what our kids like.

Jdaa, I stayed at the AKL on Opening Day last year, which happened to be the day AFTER Easter. It is a wonderful resort, but in order to find out what Easter activities they have planned for their very first Easter, your best bet would be to call the resort’s Front Desk and ask them your question.

I spent the past two Easters at the BW, so I can only tell you what activities they had planned. By the way, the BW actually had an Easter egg decorating contest for their staff and one of the entries was an egg mockup of the brand new AKL resort. It was adorable.
