Whenever I try to view the posts here, I'm unable to see any photos. I know it's gotta be a setting in my browser, but don't know how to fix it. Same thing happens at home and at work, so I'm missing out on so many beautiful photographs, especially on this board! Can any of you help a woman who thought she was somewhat computer literate, but apparently is not:confused3 ? TIA!

If it is just on this forum, then go to UserCP on the bar above. Then go to edit options, scroll down and you will see a check box for display images make sure that box is checked and hit save.

That box was already checked. It's not just on the DIS. It's on any forum, and also in my email. I'm at a loss. Thanks for trying to help!
Are you at work? Most pictures are blocked from view when I am at my main office.

Jeff, it happens at work or at home, doesn't matter.
Master Mason, I am using IE, and the show pictures box is checked.
Thanks for all your responses so far. Any other suggestions?

do you have a firewall on your computer? If so, try and turn it off and load a picture page

Can't do that here at work, all the alarms would go off :scared1: I'll try it at home tonight though. Keep your fingers crossed!
Thanks again

You probably have your browser to set only load images hosted on the same site as the site itself.
In other words, it'll only show pictures from disboards.com - so you'll get the smilies and site logos, but none of the pictures that people post. Same on other boards.

Which browser are you using? That might be the first step. Also, if the symptoms you're seeing match the description (getting site graphics but nothing off-site.)
Also, at home, you may want to try using Firefox (www.getfirefox.com) and see if you have the same problem.
It does seem very strange that you'd have the same problem both on your home and work PC.

No chance you're using a VPN connection when at home is there?
