Seems impossible to get a ressie at CBR recently

I called early for both Easter and Memorial day and was told that CBR is unavailable for both times. Its not closed or anything its just BOOKED SOLID. This is really weird for me because we have ALWAYS been able to get into CBR. The only things open are POR and CS. They are consistently available even with codes. POR used to be one of the most touted resorts on these boards and CBR the most maligned....even though it is a gorgeous resort. Seems strange to me that you can get POR and not CBR during any of the holiday seasons.

I think that it is all the rave reviews the CBR has been getting here on the Dis. You know how powerful we are as a life force. Also Seasprays web site has won over quite a few of us. Now Seaspray you shoud see if they can give you a complimentary night for all the free publicity they have recieved. It could happen.

I called for Memorial Day weekend CBR reservations at the beginning of Feb. and got in. I wanted All Stars originally because it's cheaper but they were all booked for Memorial Day.

I think its great that people are starting to appreciate CBR more. I also think the resorts might start to fill up again because many vacations were cancelled after Sept 11 last year, and hopefully now those people are rebooking their trips. Its a shame that CBR is so fully booked though!!!! Just a thought: Are they ALL booked, or all booked for certain discounts? In January I called to make a reservation using my AAA card and they told me CBR was booked. Then I called back and just asked if a room was available for my dates, and they said "yes", then I said "Ok, I have a AAA card, do I get a discount" and the CM told me that all of the AAA-available rooms were booked, but she eventually was able to put my reservation through using a AAA discount. CBR is huge, its really hard to believe its truly booked solid, although, anything is possible!
My suggest is to keep calling back because people cancel their reservations all the time. Good luck!!!
