I was thinking about cars and that got me thinking...

Will your parents buy you a car when you turn 16? Or if you're older than that, did they buy you one?

My parents really don't wanna buy me a car, which is bad for me because I have no $. But my mom says that my dad will probably buy a new car and I'll get his old one.

Well my parents knew they didn't have to buy me a car because they always knew I would get my dad's old car.

They did tell me though that they would buy me a new car if I got a full scholarship to college (which I did), but they said they aren't going to get me one now since I already have one that's in good condition. Maybe when this car is done with, they'll buy me a new one.

They bought my brother a "starter" car, meaning not a new car, but a nice car, and so they said they will do the same for me.

I was talking to my dad, and I am a total daddy's girl, and he said that he would make sure I got a car w/ a nice sound system. :D

i'm turning 17 in may..and i should have my license but i don't cuz i don't drive (long story) but my mom got a new car for her bday last year so i got her old one..cuz they thought i would drive..now they realize i can't drive it cuz it's stick so they're trying to sell it..
but i doubt they will buy me a car...

my friend is 18 and is saving money to buy his 2nd car..he has always bought his own...

I got my license 2 weeks ago and my parents already said that they're not going to get me a car!!! So I'm going to get 2 jobs over the summer and try and save for one myself. I dunno, but I figure if I can keep my grades up and have a job and work hard at it,then maybe they'd help me out a little w/the payments and stuff. Ok just some wishful thinking by me! :D I look in the paper eveyweek for a car too...pathetic huh!
