Hi everyone. I am new to posting on the boards, but I have been using the boards to research DVC for the past few weeks. Even though I never posted a question, I would like to thank everyone for their indirect help. What an excellent resource.
I was in Disney this past weekend with my DS 4. We were riding on the front of the monorail from T&T to MK. Since there seems to be some excitement on the boards encompassing Kingdom Tower as a possible future DVC resort, I thought that some members might like a picture of the progress of a possible future point purchase when it becomes announced ;)
Enjoy the pictures and thanks for the help...

Thank you for the pictures; I can't wait for this to be confirmed by DVC :cool1: I'm saving my pennies in the meantime, I want to get enough points for a 4 day stay in a one-bedroom. I think that will be enough to keep me happy :)

I sure hope it's true!! My wife has been on the fence for the last two years. She always said if ther was one on the monorail thats the one she would like to own. So when I told her about the KTV, she said OK. We would like to get around 275 to 300 points.

my guide said he would call "when" selling was going to begin for contemporary DVC...he said he used to say he'd call "IF"....but now he said there is no point in hiding it.

Kingdom Tower--I think the name sounds like the religious group who comes to your door selling the magazine! Disney fanatics have begun their own religion, with Mickey at the top:worship: :rotfl2:
By the way, when I was there, everyone told me DVC hasn't been announced yet, **wink, wink**, so I guess that sounded pretty firm to me.:goodvibes

I know it's all speculation at this point, but does anybody have a clue as to what the price per point will be on this thing. I'm thinking they will really push the price forward on this thing and make the point values needed for stays ridiculous.

they didn't with BCV - so no really expecting it to be a lot higher with CRV (could be wrong based on BCV) - DVC prices go up every year - regardless. that will still be happening. might be $10 more than current prices - maybe more or less.
expecting an annoucement in May!!!

If they make an announcement in may, Do you think they will start selling by december. I will be there in december 08. This would work for me!!!!!!!

Yeah I told my guide to put us on the list earlier this week when we added points and to call us when they start selling KTV. He said I was like 115 already on his list and pretty much said the same as your guide. He did say he hopes they start selling this summer - I was shocked he said that and didn't want to push him on the subject. To be honest I hope they wait awhile to sell as I just added points and want to build back up our "disney" fund!

I am very new to DVC so take this for what its worth. When I spoke to my guide I explained that I would really like to own at the contemporary, but I didn’t want to wait. He explained to me that Disney will not have more then 2 properties for sale at the same time. Right now it is SSR and AKV. After SSR is sold out it will be AKV and the Grand Californian. After AKV is sold out it will be the Grand Californian and the new DVC in Hawaii. After the Grand Californian is sold out that’s when they would release the Kingdom Tower. Now again I am VERY new to DVC so I am just repeating what I have heard. My rep has been with Disney for some time and seems very knowledgeable so I tend to believe him. He is also in the Anaheim office.

I don't think that makes any business sense. Maybe they don't want to have more than two properties on the same site on sale at the same time, but why not have another property to sell in orlando together with AKV while they are also selling hawaii and GCV?
I think want your guide wanted is to make purchase now and not wait.
