Someones tried using my debit card!

I noticed a couple of transactions on my Nationwide Flexaccount the other day when I was checking it online! Only about £50 so not too bad. But what puzzles me is this an account I just use for transfering money online between various other accounts etc.. and the only time I have used the debit card in 3 years is at a local Indian Restaurant about 2 years ago!

So I just can't understand how someone has managed to get the card details to make an internet purchase with it :confused3

So either my favourite Indian restaurant has skimmed my card or someone has managed to get my card details from the bank!

Nationwide has repaid the full amount to my account, but it's still a bit of a puzzle!

we have had the same trouble over the last week , someone used to our account to the amount of 106.00 ......we are with Barclays bank but we are still waiting for them to sort it out

That is a bit odd Tim where on earth have they got your details from :confused3 . Ours got done in Orlando a couple of years ago and we are still mystified as the card never left our sight. We think it was somebody from our hotel as the transactions started just as we were leaving, one was for food in our hotel food court and all the others were for places really close by. Luckily we had told the card company our travel dates so they only spent couple of hundred before the bank stopped them. Glad to hear you got it sorted quickly :)
