Didn't I read on here somewhere that the Family Table or Abbondanza is not available to dining plan customers? I could be crazy, but I swear I saw that somewhere. TIA!

Last Fall, it was on the menu and available to those on DDP.

I didn't even notice it on the menu last month.

Thanks BCV 23...do you know if any of the restaurants ever allow you to exchange an appetizer for a dessert? We've done the DDP twice already, but it was before the changes. Thanks!

I don't know if any restaurants allow such a substitution. We were on the deluxe this Feb so both were included.

Of course, cheese courses can normally be an appetizer or dessert so that might be one instance.

According to all information we've seen on this board, substitution of an appetizer for the dessert on the basic dining plan is not being permitted under any circumstances.

I know I have yet to see anyone post who was successfully able to do so.

I've also seen posted on this board this year that Tutto Italia was not including the family style meal in the basic dining plan, but I have no personal knowledge.

We were there last month and the family style meal is not on the DP. The food and the service was great. We would recommend it. Don't forget that the resturant is closing sometime this year for a re do. I'm not sure when.

Could you be talking about the appetizer platter for two? That would not be on the DDP since it is an appetizer. It is an option on the deluxe plan. We ordered it last month on the deluxe.

Last year there was a family style meal. It was something like choose two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts. Not exactly that but in the ballpark.
