This just dawned on me. So I'm either gonna have to run on the treadmill there (which I just don't do) or get in my car and drive somewhere to run. What would be the closest jogging path to get to from there?

Thanks!

Shan What length run are you looking for? There is probably a short one mapped out at AKL--WDW site claims there is, but doesn't have the map. You might peruse the trail maps at DisneyRunning.com. Running from WL to FW might be good for a few miles, and wouldn't be so kamikaze as trying to run on any of the roads around there.

Another possibility is to search for a run on a place like Mapmyrun.com for "Lake Buena Vista" or "Disney World"

I'll be at AKL for the Minnie, so I'll scope things out.

Shan: Visit my website link to maps of resort trails at http://www.disneyrunning.com/wdwtrails.html .

I always like the Boardwalk/DHS loop. The closest is CB. You can run aroud there and take the sidwalk(along the road) from CB to AS and run around there and back. You will have a few stoplights. I also like the DTD/SSR/OKW loop.

Really depends on how far you want to go.

During this last Marathon week I was able to run in the parking lot and got in an easy 1.5 mile loop. with a few lane up and downs, went out by the new DVC const, was not too bad, did it very early in the AM

I just went to the Boardwalk and ran around there. Saratoga Springs would probably be my next choice for running.

I read that someone actually ran from the lodge to Sherberth Road and ran down that and turned around and went back. They went early enough where there wasn't much traffic and didn't have any problems.

This is a great route, I would really recommend it.
