Well i thought that i would make one to! lol! In this thread we can post where the box is...and when it has arrived...and so on and soo forth! :) as of right now Lindsay AKA Lindz0625 has it :) That is all i have to say as of Right now


If you are reading this and are wanting to be apart of the Box chain...there are two things i need to confirm....

And if you are wondering what the heck is the box chain....it is a box that is circulating only to the Future Fall Advantage 08 Cast Members. In the box we have several surprises! :yay: :yay: The overall premise is to get to know everybody before we all trek to Orlando!

Here's a rundown of what the Box is, as said by SweaterInJune:

I don't know if this is something that interests you, but 7 of us from Spring '03 did something called "The Box". It wasn't an original idea among us, as someone else had done it prior...anyhow. One person starts it and compiles a list of addresses of the participants. He/she also buys a journal or some sort of blank book--hardbound is a plus, but nothing too big or bulky...dollar stores are great for this. Each person will take 1-2 pages and put some photos of themselves, a brief bio and description of where you live (picture!), and a favorites list about Disney related things, etc. (Ride, Park, character, food, color,...). We filled the box with a few Disney related gifts, DVDs, CDs, books,etc. Ours, by the end included:
-pencils, pens, erasers, stationery, princess bubbles, candy(NO CHOCOLATE! It melts!--use good judgement).
-DVDs: MMC, DL Sing-A-Long, Modern Marvels, Travel Channel Specials, etc.
-Books: Imagineering field guides, Mousecatraz, park maps, etc.
-CDs: Soundtracks, park music
-Gifts: Socks, Disney bubbles, stickers, any other gifts for your new friends!

Be sure to tag certain gifts for each member, if it matters what they take. We also included a postcard or letter...to be opened first which explains what we included, why, and what each person could take, if it wasn't tagged. Some were obvious, if there's a pack of untagged pencils, you get one. Multiple erasers? Take one, etc.

Finally, after filling the box, and the first few should not fill it all the way, he/she sends it out to the person below them on the address list (in a flat-rate box available at your local post office--this way everyone pays the same amount, regardless of weight). DO not forget to include the address list and rules sheet when you pack the box (and have a copy of the address you're sending to outside). The rules list includes many of the guidlines here...I can send a run-down of our if you're interested.

We had one major rule: everyone gets 2 days with the box and it MUST be sent off!

This way everyone has a chance to get it at least twice, to put their offerings in, and recieve gifts/materials from those below them. Again, keep the group small. Whoever has the box last, closest to leaving brings it down with them.

Hey Tyler, I have a box suggestion. If people are interested, I thought it might be fun to keep the box going once we all get down there, kind of as a time capsule of our time there. We could put in fun moments from working or pictures of us out at the parks and all. Or, another thought I have was having a 'bad day' box, and fill it full of fun stuff to do if you'd had a bad day at work, like chocolates or coloring pages or other little things, or cards to write about your bad day and see that everyone else has had bad days too. Maybe smile when you realize your bad day wasn't as bad as you thought. I don't know, just some of my musings. Wanted to see what other people might think.

hey! idk if u are next or the next person after the next person! if that made sense! lol we are trying to stand clear of any messy chocolates and candies that could melt! So it is up to you....but if u do decided to make them....please package the candies tight...and seal them....please and thank you! :)

I am excited to see it!!! :) i worked really hard getting it perfect....after all i am VERY picky when it comes to printing! ....if you do not know...i work in office max in the printing dept.....and i have an eye....that know whats right...and whats very wrong...lol! but i did enjoy making the journal!! after all it is unique!

Hi everybody, just wanted to say that I got the box today! I LOVE it, you all have done SUCH an amazing job!!! I feel inadequately crafty, lol. My mom loved it so much that she was sad she's not going to be here to help me send it off again. I will try and get it turned around ASAP and down to Sarah, and then it's back to you Tyler. I hope everyone likes the new additions! Erika I love the pages you put into the journal, the little tag questions are darling!!! And Tyler the journal is BEAUTIFUL! Lindsay and Joanna I love the pictures!! So I will try and get it re-packed and on it's way to you in SC Sarah!! I just want to say thanks for including me in this guys, it's very special, I think this is going to be such a great experience and you guys are making sure it gets off to a wonderful start, thanks! :flower3:

HEY!!! we just used the basic flat rate box....there are two sizes....long and narrow or like a small box....i started the box with a small box...we may need to convert to a long and narrow box! b/c of all the stuff...it was like 5-6 bucks...i think! to ship it no matter the weight!.....which is the best part! :) how is ur box adventure comming? hey! would u like me to send you our set of rules? so you can make them ur own?

Maybe to make sure everyone gets it again, maybe we should send it out a little earlier? Like you get it on one day, you have it for another, and then you send it out at the end of the next day? That might help a little bit...

(Ex: I get it on Monday, I send it out at the end of the day on Wednesday)

I agree, I think to get it around again we need to make it circulate faster. I know I want everyone to be able to see the new stuff that's been added because I had so much fun seeing everybody else's. Sometimes that might mean we don't get to check out all the stuff in the box though, like I didn't get to finish reading Erika's guidebook. Which, btw, I went out and bought my own copy because I really liked that book! I've never had a Disney guidebook before because I always figured I knew enough to get by, but it's such a cool book! But anyhow, my 2 cents, I agree with Erika.

honestly......we all are going through what you are feeling! are very normal!!!! i am just as scared if not more scared than you! i fear leaving my friends and family...and being alone/with out them when i move to orlando...it scares me.....but you ALWAYS have to look at the bright side......there are many other people just like you! going through the same feelings as u are! scared....yet excited at the same time! but i do believe that once we arrive those scared feelings will go away...b/c imagine all of the friends that you will make!!! well really life long friendships that u are about to make! u will have friends from around the world! and the best part of all.....it will be at disney world! to end this paragraph....u are normal....and those feelings with in everyone doing the cp! even me!

honestly......we all are going through what you are feeling! are very normal!!!! i am just as scared if not more scared than you! i fear leaving my friends and family...and being alone/with out them when i move to orlando...it scares me.....but you ALWAYS have to look at the bright side......there are many other people just like you! going through the same feelings as u are! scared....yet excited at the same time! but i do believe that once we arrive those scared feelings will go away...b/c imagine all of the friends that you will make!!! well really life long friendships that u are about to make! u will have friends from around the world! and the best part of all.....it will be at disney world! to end this paragraph....u are normal....and those feelings with in everyone doing the cp! even me!

I don't know what happened with the box and why you haven't gotten it yet Tyler... after me, there were only two other people, but it has been about 20-25 days sent I sent out the box and I know the person right after me got it pretty quick. I hope I don't sound mean, I really don't mean to be so pleeeeeeeeaaaaaase don't take this the wrong way, but I am not sure if we should add someone else to the box since we only have about 20 days and it has taken us way longer than that to even do the first cycle. I think it's kind of only fair that the people who got it the first tour get a chance to see it again... please don't take this the wrong way!! But it's so close to our deadline and I think we may have a chance to squeeze everyone in... but adding someone else may not be the best idea at this point. Sorry if this was mean!

idk....i have lost hope. i know that is bad to say...but honestly...she has had it for how long? many many weeks...so even if she were to send it back to me....it would take at least 7 days to get to me...and by then it is to close to the tenth to even attempt to send it around again. i would hate it if the box would arrive to one of your houses and you not be there...lol anyway we have under 20 days. my school has offically ended and it is sad, that my freshman year is over, yet at the same time my excitement is growing! it was just like i got the letter yesterday....in feb...and now it is just about may....and i have less than 20 days! i can remember when we had weeks....and months....with several days! eeekkk and now we have a few days left.....in a few days a new chapter in each of our lives will begin! and we get to write it! i can not wait to be apart of your book! well everyones books! i know that sounded corney! but w/e! i am excited! and super nervous! but my dad is driving down with me...we are leaving at 5:45 from my house to arrive in orlando by 7
