When did you interview? It takes about two to three weeks to hear a response, and I think the recent consensus is that it may be taking a little longer than that right now.

If you think your interview went well and everything in terms of paperwork is in order, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You can call college recruiting if you're worried though, just to make sure everything is good with your application (they may also be able to tell you that they made a decision and it's in the mail, but they probably won't be able to tell you what that decision is).

I have heard of people being rejected... but in all cases it was because they applied pretty late and the program was full, or they only wanted specific roles that were filled and they refused QSFB or Custodial.

The only other person was an alumni and there was something pretty goofy with her rehire process, that was a special circumstance.

Some recruiters will tell you right then whether you got accepted or not. I know my recruiter does. Unfortunately not all of them do this, though. When I interviewed (a million years ago :rotfl: ) I just asked the interviewer after everyone had left and she told me. It's just another benefit of going to an on-campus presentation!

I applied for a PI on January 31st and I haven't heard a thing from Disney. I've contacted them and all they told me was that they have my applications. I think it's safe to say that I got rejected.

We're moving down there anyway since my husband got accepted to UCF. I'm planning on going down to the Casting Center at the beginning of May and apply for full time. I just hope something is open that I would like to do.

Don't say that, keep hope alive. I had to wait 2 weeks before I had my 1st interview, it was killing me. Eventually everything came through, it just takes a little time. If it makes you feel any better , I applied for a PIs like in 2nd week Feb. (13th), now I'm just playing the waiting game since I had my 2nd interview last friday!!! Good luck, don't give up yet.

I've talked to a ton of people who have done the program, and the only cases I've heard of people getting rejected are the people that apply when all the roles are full and they have no more space. While I'm sure there are people that do get rejected for other reasons, I think the percentage is very slim.

That pretty much is the reason. People get rejected because there is no more room unfortunately (or there is little room left, and they don't want the roles available...namely QSFB and custodial).
