So, after a year of being the proud owners of a 5er and enjoyng the Fort the time has come to let that part of our life go.When it all began I thought the ride would never end but, life just doen't seem to work that way sometimes. Don't get me wrong, the decision was not easy to make and has been discussed for months. Unfortunatly the wheels were set in motion that fatefull day that the words were spoken,,,, " do you think we could swing a Class A ":lmao: ,,,,You didn't think we were giving up on the Fort did you ??? You should really have more faith in a fellow DISer . With the rising cost of fuel we had to rethink a few things but, when I started thinking about the cost of diesel, towing Mileage, Cost of Gas, and Class A Mileage it can't be to much of a difference ( OK, I spent more time thinking about a cost anaylisis than I spent actually doing one,,,,sshhh, don't tell Lisa ). She seems to think my reasoning is so that I could have a Rockstar Bus:rolleyes1 . It's not a bus per say but we found a deal we didn't think we should pass up. We haven't actually signed the papers yet but, it's been through the bank so we have the final deal. We are supposed to take delivery on Thursday. Now we have to find some of that ever elusive availability to break it in properly. I will try and take a few more pictures when we get it home but, I have a couple from the dealer website.. it's a 2001 and only had 24,000 miles on it. Considering we are about 1.5-2 hours from the Fort and thats pretty much the only place we go, we should be fine. Were hoping to start trying a few different places this Summer up in Georgia...I'm going to wait to edit our Sig until we actually have it home.

Oh Man I know what would be cool..... Have someone paint the upside down Cadillac like the one at the entrance of the Rock-n-Rollercoaster :thumbsup2
Man, you are living my current dream, trade in the 5-er for a Class A. I can thank Shannone for that dream. Ever since she showed the pictures of her Winnebago bunk house, I find myself looking at the Class A forums, looking on eBay and any other for sale site I can find. :surfweb:
Congrats on the new toy!

Man, looks to be in very good condition...NICE!:thumbsup2 I think I would have had a tough time deciding myself. I made the decision myself that if I ever make the move to a Class "A", it will be a diesel pusher Toy Hauler so it ain't happening anytime soon.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I haven't had the chance to take additional pictures yet BUT, It has found its way home. We took deliverey today ( Thursday ) and for me to say its awsome would not do it justice. I'm sure we will enjoy it beyond belief if we can get availability at the fort when its not jam packed. Hopefully we don't have to wait for end of summer. Donnie, I may PM you for some spots around here ( Hannah park etc. ) that you could give us some advice on. One person I know swears by Jeykle (sp) Island....

Great, now I'm going to spend the next week or so trying to come up with the right guitar. I also thougt about another angle that is only applicable while parked. We have always like the Class A's with the Disney stuff on the dash. While we are Disney freaks ( as we all are exept Gatordad, he only likes the Fort ) I am also a Pack Rat and have been in Music for about 25 years.Over this time I have aquired many guitars and some things that I can't play but wanted to learn. I have considered getting some large stuffed animals ( probably three ) and have them set up with Guitar ( Mickey ) ,Fiddle ( maybe a Bear or Donald), and Banjo ( seems to fit Goofy ) or just all Mickey and have them on the Dash. Of course none of this may happen but, the wish list is a big part of the fun when you get a new camper:woohoo: .

LOL...Ive been a KISS fan for as far back as I can remember.... I had all the original (ahem) "action figures" and kept the posed on my official kiss stage(my red-flyer" wagon). While all the kids in first grade were drawing puppies and ducks, I was drawing Gene with blood dripping down his chin....my teacher had concerns at first untill I recited every word to Stairway To Heaven during Sing Along time, then I guess she realized I was simply a fan of music in general, and not just obsessed with a blood spitting demon who couldnt harmonize to save his life!!!

I never had the Dolls,,,,uh I mean " action figures " but I was as big of a fan as my Cowbow Dad would let me be :lmao: . I went to a church Halloween party when I was about 7 years old. In the 70's halloween ( at least my church ) didn't condem Halloween but when I showed up as Gene I did get a few looks. I've got a blurry one from when one of my bands went out like KISS. I was Gene cause I had the hair for it.

Congrats Mike!
We love our Class A and are thinking after 2 1/2 years with ours about moving up from a 40'er to a 45' after this upcoming football season.
We are only 1 1/2 hours from Disney ourself we are in Clearwater. You might want to check out the Florida Keys. we go every year for 3 weeks, you may like Blue Water just outside of Key West they have a web site we stay about 20 miles from Key West becuase of our diving and lobster sites are in this area. We also tow our 25' boat behind our MH to the Keys. Check out Mount Dora in GA very nice at the fairground on the lake there and also Dillard GA right next to Clayton (10 hour drive from Clearwater). If you are into ATV riding check out Durham Town about 60 miles east of Atlanta.
Good luck and enjoy
oops did not mean Mount Dora I meat Hiawassee GA

Been to Durhamtown twice. There's some other great riding in TN and WV. DT is great though for the distance and money.

Unforunatly we sold our 4-wheelers a couple of years ago because we didn't have a place to ride but, I had forgot about the Keys...Do you launch your boat with the camper, that makes me a little nervouse but I see people pulling them all the time and didn't have anyone I knew to ask. We have a Carolina Skiff that we would like to take a few places..
