Hi: Can anyone tell me if the check in desk is in the same room where concierge guests get their breakfast, and snacks all day.
I am just wondering if while you are relaxing and enjoying a snack, others are checking in, or is the check in desk on another floor?

The check in desk is on the first and food is on the second. There is a stair case right there and an elevator. It would be very easy for the rest of your party to wait on you in the lounge. I believe they had some juice out at the check in desk when we were there.

Also when they first bring you to the Hawaii longhouse, you do not have to check in right away. They bring you right to your room and you can go over to the desk when you are ready and have all your stuff put away while the rest of your group can go swimming or hang out in the lounge.

Well, it sounds great. Thanks folks, We are looking at spending a few days in concierge at the end of our trip to relax and really enjoy the resort. I will miss those red maccaws in the lobby though.

Yeah the maccaws were moved to the Animal Kingdom park. Two of the birds were born at the Polynesian.

We arrived at the Polynesian at around noon, and were taken to the Hawaii Longhouse. However, our room was not ready so we were taken directly to the concierge desk for check-in. We then went over to the Grand Floridian for a nice relaxing lunch. Our room was wasn't ready till 4PM, so we just sat at the table and chairs in the concierge office area waiting for about an hour.

Just wondering, I know this has been asked before, but is it possible to use the concierge for breakfast and supper and have a lunch out at one of the parks. In otherwords we will only need to buy one meal besides the concierge meal.

We ate breakfast and supper in the lounge. I probably eat more than any other 107 lb 25 yr. old you have ever seen and didn't have a problem with it. I could eat a whole medium pizza by myself just to give you an example. The only night I needed to get a snack was when they had ceasar salad for the 5:00 to 7:00 meal. The food was very good and very healthy. They let you take all you want back to the room with you so you can snack later too. We would always take extra pb&J's at lunch incase we needed a snack. If they didn't see us coming back for more they encouraged us to. Don't feel timid to get as much as you need.

Hello:
I am a little concerned about shushi day, do they put out these turkey and swiss sandwiches everyday for the kids, so I can eat this as I do not eat any seafood.
Also is the orange juice and guava juice out all day?

The sushi on sushi night was not very good. I adore sushi and eat it quite often but didn't find the sushi at the Poly Concierge lounge very good. We decided to eat elsewhere that night.
You can always get something else to eat, like a PB and J or whatever kind of sandwich they are serving the kids. They don't serve turkey and cheese everyday, just the PB and J.
Yes, you can always get the guava/orange juice. It's very, very good.
