Reservation ?

When I call next week to make reservations for our Oct trip, do I need to ask MS to use the points I have banked or will they do this automatically? Thought I had read on these boards once that you need to tell them to use the banked point. And then will they use the current years points?
I get almost as excited to make the reservations as I do actually going on the trip. After we have reservations in hand, then I'll know where we'll be staying and what we can plan for.

Some of them automatically use banked points first and check w/you as they make your ressie, but I would let them know to use them first just to make sure.

Any time I make a reservation or bank points (haven't borrowed yet!), at the end of the conversation I always confirm the balance of points for each year. Never hurts to double check!
