Cab from airport

I've asked around & have been told to take the Mears shuttle from the airport to our hotel on Int'l. The cost for the shuttle is a total of $57 for me & my husband. I've been told a cab will be approx. $30-40. I've been given such great advise on this board :worship: there has got to be a reason why the shuttle is being recommended versus the less expensive cab.

I don't think this is correct, I know that the private car services do a grocery stop, but never heard of Mears doing it.

Are you sure the Mears is $57 for 2? Is this a round trip? Because from what I've done in the past Mears was about $12 per person, I'm sure its up by now but I don't think its $57 for 2 unless it is a round trip. Anyone else that has used Mears lately that can confirm any of this?? :confused3

I just checked Mears' site, that is the quote for a roundtrip, which is much cheaper than taking a cab which would $80 plus tip. HTH
