Visa Codes?

We just rec'd our Disney Visa a week or so ago and I'm curious how the codes work. I know I have seen some people using a Visa code, do they just email/mail the offers to you or do you have to call and find out if there is a code attached to your name?

Deals are offered in advance of the General Public to Disney Visa holders. You go to the Disney Visa website and you can check for the discounts there. They also will send you email of discounts but usually you get those a few days after (in my experience) the information hits here and on mousesavers. (This is the best place to check for discounts - this place is viral.) There is an offer right now for the code FJT: 3/30 thru 4/12 for room only at certain resorts.

The reason the advanced booking of the discounts can be critical is because in the past certain resorts would fill up fast even before the general public gets a shot at them. Though with the economy "softening" (I believe that's the polite word to say) it may not be so critical for now.

Thank you for the response. I did see on the Visa website where you could look for codes, but currently all I see is things for Disneyland, etc no WDW codes, so I just wanted to double check.

There was a code listed in the Chase Visa newsletter for the dates stated above. I use to just throw it out as junk mail but now and then there are codes and coupons for savings at disneyshopping, etc.
