MOWC or Vistana

We can do 2 rooms at the MOWC for 7 nights, only paying for 1 room cost will be about $900 net.

Or we can stay in 1 room at the MOWC for 2 nights for free, then move to the Vistana 2bdr for 5 nights on the dis rate, the cost will be about $800.

There are 5 of us.

What would you do?

Vistana 2-bedroom has a bunch more room than a hotel room at MOWC...

have you looked at renting one of the timeshares there?

Yes, I have checked. Marriott.com does not have availability for the MVC properties on points & the rates are too high to pay $.
Tug, Redweek, etc are all too high compared to the $8-900 that I am currently working with. This is for spring break week.

Is it worth it to move after 2 nights & leave the MOWC pool after 2 nights to go to Vistana?

Moving hotels vs NOT moving hotels (packing etc)
MOWC pool vs Vistana Pool.
MOWC food options vs kitchen at Vistana.
cost is same, until you get to food.
we will all have comfy beds regardless of where (2 rooms at MOWC/2bdr Vistana).

I need to go play the lottery immediately! I have been stalking Marriott.com for a MVC property to come available for our stay and JUST NOW one popped up & we grabbed it! Royal Palms, here we come!

ask for one recently rehab and see what they say.

someone reported a rehab there - but others say they haven't.

so that is probably the mixed reviews.

I would be inclined to just stay at Vistana for the full time, and save the Marriott points for some other trip.

Edited: never mind, just saw you got one of the Palms. Stick with that; it will be just fine.
