View Full Version : Can AKV Studio sleep up to 5?

We are thinking about booking a Studio at AKV but we want to bring along fifth person. The difference between a one bedroom and a studio is nearly double the amount of points. Is there a way to use a few more points or pay cash to have a fifth person stay in a studio?

Yes at AKV you can sleep 5 as it has a sleeper chair as well . But not in the value ones..

Sorry but i am not too sure now i dont think you can sleep 5 in a studio...:confused3

I thought you can only sleep 5 at the AKV in a 1 bedroom, not studio. The 1 bedroom has a sleep ottaman.

This is it. Not in the value 1 bedroom either. When we get to the new building it will be better because the 1 bedrooms will have 2 full bathrooms.

Since the answer to the OP's question has not been clearly answered, I am going to use my mod super- powers to add a post to this thread.

MS will not accept a reservation for 5 people for any of the DVC studios unless one of the 5 is an infant under the age of 3. A portable crib (similar to a Pac 'n Play) is provided for the infant.

MS will allow 5 people in any of the DVC 1 bedroom units (no matter what the ages), but there are no accommodations made for the 5th person. So no rollaways, cots or extra bedding will be provided for the 5th person. However, there is a portable crib for an infant in each of the 1 bedrooms.

The standard and savanna view categories at the AKV only officially sleep 5. There is a sleep chair in the living room to accommodate the 5th person. The value category does NOT have the sleep chair as the units are smaller than the other categories.

1 bedroom units in the Kidani Building of the AKV (which is not yet open) have two bathrooms. The 1 bedroom units in the Jambo Building (main AKL building) have only 1 bathroom.
