Hi, has anyone had connecting studio rooms @ OKW? Is there such a thing or will we have to go out to enter the other room? The 2 bdrm units were out of our price range so we thought we would try the two studios. Any info will be great. After being on hold this morning I thought I would try this board.

There is no such thing as connecting studios at OKW. The studios connect to one-bedrooms to form two-bedroom units. You can request that studios be near each other but it can't be guaranteed. Because of the layout of the buildings, it's possible that the studios could be on different floors or a few doors down.

If there are adults in one room and children in another, be sure it is noted on your ressie so they'll get you as close together as possible. Although we've always been close to our adult guests when requested, we have at times been placed "nearby" but in completely different buildings. For adults this is no problem, but I'd certainly want "kids" in the same building.

Ever consider renting points from a DVC owner? Depending on availability, it is possible to get an OKW 2 Br for a Sun - Thurs night for anywhere from $220 to $410 per night, depending on season. You do have to be sure of your dates, though. Fri and Sat nights would be more. Not sure what cash prices are for a 2 Br thru WDW CRO - but this might be an option in the future to get a 2 Br within your price range. You can find info on DVC Rent/Trade Board.
