Hey everyone,

My girlfriend applied and interviewed like February 13th. A week and a half later she received a letter saying it would be 3-4 weeks and now she is really nervous she won't get accepted and is wondering if anyone else has ever recieved a similar letter.

She is worried because she got an under-aged gambling ticket, but it was just a fine, no community service or jail or anything like that. I've been told that people with much worse records than that have gotten accepted. Even my recruiter told me that they accept people with DUIs and MIPs all the time.

So why would they send her a letter saying it'd take 3-4 more weeks? :confused3

She applied for basically every position and interviewed fairly early in the process.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

This is just a random guess...but maybe they just decided to do a more thorough background check which takes additional time. So they sent her the letter so she knows they got her stuff...but she still has to wait until the background check is complete! That's just me theory!

I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. As long as she disclosed everything, she should probably be okay- pending her interview of course. They may or may not be looking into her background to make sure everything that was stated on paper and during the interview was factual.
